Great experience with this boutique old-school hotel — classic Santorini cave house (some taste of it?). Huge living space. Very welcoming service. Manageable old furniture and bathroom etc. Great location in Megalochori, a very quiet town with authentic greek vibe. Far away from the „famous“ white walls and blue domes — good for tourists focusing on culture and quietness. Cats are all around the town. You may accidentally meet some of them in house, which is very cute for us. To also be constructive, something to improve: cleanliness of bathroom (or renovation of it), anti-mosquito measures, and breakfast service. (They don’t serve breakfast, but it would be immensely great if it is served within the house otherwise the dining room is wasted)

We had some problems at the arrival but Maria was super helpful, ready to assist and to make sure that we had an excellent experience. The apar**ent is amazing, really beautiful and comfortable, with everything you can need. Would recommend 100%

Beautiful villa in an adorable quaint wine village. Unique and custom furnishings and finishes, very comfortable bed, private, and quiet. Everything you need is in walking distance, and there are places and views to explore all around. Helpful host and concierge made us feel welcome and at ease.

The property was beautiful and our group loved how authentic it felt. The pool was well maintained and there was plenty of space for 10 people. Maria was a wonderful host and helped arrange transportation for us.
The surrounding town of Megalochori is small but quiet and significantly less crowded than Fira or Oia, but the trade-off is that there are no spectacular views, and fewer dining options.
Note, only some of the bedrooms have air conditioning.

Great stay at Ducato - the one bed villa was absolutely stunning and rustic. The pool was fantastic to lounge around in and the location was perfect to the lovely village of Megalochori Maria was excellent in providing any and all help - would definitely stay again!

We were in the 4 bedroom Villa with private hot tub. There was NO AIR CONDITIONER, no hot tub( they had a sauna) there was a standing fan and humidifiers in room due to smell. There were 4 round holes covered in the floor that dropped ~20’ into ground, so if you have children beware. The windows were open with no screens, and no Air conditioner. (Flies, bugs, cats made way in to the big windows) place was supposedly cleaned with dust everywhere. Fridge filthy. If coming with kids, rooms were separated outside of main room. Rooms upstairs were unbearable hot, but they gave you a 10” fan. Could not stay and needed to leave. Pictures are not what is depicted. The parking lot for ALL who come to the area is about 5 blocks away. The street that GPS takes to the villa is so tight that it is very difficult to drive down. GOOD LUCK if choosing this villa with a heat wave and a family with a car

Having never been to Santorini and wanting to escape real life we couldn’t have stayed at a better hotel. From before arriving to leaving every experience was top notch. Maria helped coordinate all of our transportation, activities and allowed us a late checkout. Our villa was breathtaking and offered us the u**ost privacy.
