Afoura Houses by K&K

This is a hotel with a great a**osphere, converted from a century-old winery. The staff drove to the bottom of the slope to pick me up and enthusiastically introduced the hotel's facilities to me. Although it was only a short night, it was also an unforgettable memory of the Aegean Sea trip.

The room is clean and the owner is very friendly.

Overall, a very good stay: a very attentive, responsive owner with good advice; very tasteful interior decoration; only small downside: sound insulation. Afoura Houses actually houses several accommodations and in our case, we had very noisy and disrespectful people during the first 2 nights. The other nights were better but we still heard the noise of the water pipes from other accommodations. However, we loved the place: spacious, well equipped, comfortable, clean. There were 6 of us (blended family with 4 children / 2 siblings), there are 2 bedrooms with double beds and on the mezzanine open to the living room 2 single beds. The sea side terrace is shared with the other apar**ents but even in July, it was not complicated. Finally, the location, although in an unattractive area, is central and the island being small we are about ten minutes from Fira, 5 minutes from Pyrgos, around twenty minutes from Oïa. We had rented a car with the help of Konstantinos for the duration of the stay. Parking in front of the house is convenient. We recommend !
