Onsen Ryokan Yuen Sapporo Reviews

First time in Sapporo and didn’t know where to stay. Glad I found this place because it was perfect on all levels. Location is walkable from Sapporo station but cabs are constantly around. As soon as you arrive you’re greeted with a sense of zen and it carried throughout our stay. Room size was good enough for us, very clean and it included all the basic necessities including robes for the Onsen. Overall building was very well maintained. The main feature is the Onsen and it didn’t disappoint. Multiple warm pools, sauna and a cold plunge. You even get ice cream afterwards. Didn’t get any breakfast or dinner so can’t comment on the food but highly recommend staying here. Would come back!

The 2 storey room not that prefer, dark lighting, not spacious , the curtain is not designed 100% coverage of the light , I would prefer to stay at normal twin room Onsen until 25:00, a little bit early But in general, the hotel is nice

Great service, no problem if you plan to drive and parking in the premises. Its a good idea to notify the hotel in advance. 

The service is horrible they force us to check out even we ask for extension

CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE ROOM. HOWEVER FOR THOSE WHO DRIVE MAY NEED TO PARK AT THE PUBLIC CARPARK NEARBY.

Place was tastefully designed. Clean and spacious room.

Enjoyed our stay and the onsen at the hotel. Room is big enough for 2, only thing is the distance is abit further from station and shopping area. It's within walking distance but just slightly further.

Quite an accessible location, but rooms were quite small. Also a pity that there’s no private onsen.

Only the hotel room is a little small but the shower & bed were so comfy! Will recommend this hotel to travelers!

Longer walk is needed to the tourist attractions. Otherwise it’s a comfy hotel with nice, small onsen. Onsen can be quite crowded during peak hours.

This hotel is really beautiful and exquisite in Japanese style Although it shouldn’t be particularly cheap, it’s very suitable for checking in.

I went there expecting a large public bath, but the room was very traditional, so I really liked it♡ It was a bit disappointing that there were only 3 places to dry your hair in the main bath. Breakfast is also really delicious.

First of all, it is definitely not a hotel worth paying for this price. The compar**ent is narrow and the table and chairs are wide. It’s hard to enjoy a hotel stay inside. I washed it in the main bath, but there are other places too. Cheap price and good location I recommend tying it up.

It was great to use alone. I made a reservation on a high floor, so the outside view was nice and the sunlight came in. The large public bath was large enough and clean, so it was nice. The staff were also very friendly.
