My husband and I decided to stay at an Inn for the first time ever, because typically my husband prefers a TV and more privacy. However, we chose the gorgeous Wickwood Inn because of the location to town, (walking distance) and the luxury accommodations. After a four-night stay, my husband and I are now Wickwood Inn's biggest fans. What a very special and memorable visit we had! Some of the highlights of our stay included first and foremost the wonderfully attentive staff. I cannot express enough the warmth and care we were given by every single employee, a true breath of fresh air! Our suite was beautiful, comfortable, super clean, and the shower was incredible. Every public room/space was cozy and welcoming with beautiful decor. Rose, the chef and/or her team prepared our amazing breakfast each morning based off of a menu we pre-selected from the night before. In the afternoon, as a way for guests to mingle, wine and fabulous desserts were served between 4:30 and 6pm, and the desserts were available until 9pm. This allowed a designated time to get to know other guests, should they choose, and we met some of the loveliest people this way. I would like to express a huge thank you to the Inn keeper Mrs. Susan for leading a team in such a loving and caring way. Her expertise and big heart shined through every employee!!! PS One last comment, the Inn had perfect Wi-Fi as my husband, a few times, wanted to watch a movie through his Netflix account, he was happy man indeed!

My daughter and I enjoyed a long weekend in Saugatuck and stayed at the Wickwood Inn. We loved it! Every morning the breakfast we were served was excellent and daily there were afternoon snacks with wine and a charcuterie board available for guests as well. The rooms were very comfortable and bathroom clean and well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion (you don't need to bring them). The common area rooms were lovely and the outdoor space to sit and have breakfast or just enjoy was beautiful. We would absolutely stay again and thank all the staff for wonderful hospitality as well as great suggestions on things to do in the are for people not familiar with the town.

This was our first visit to the Saugatuck area and we were fortunate to have chosen the Wickwood Inn as our headquarters for the week. The home is on a beautiful lot surrounded by trees and lush well manicured landscape within easy walking distance of everything you want to do in this community. We were greeted at the door by a lovely young woman, Annika and taken on a tour of the very well appointed home. The wood floors, designer area rugs, comfortable furniture, calming library, screened veranda and open back patios were better than home-like. We were taken to our room #2 which was on the first floor and lovely but extremely cold. We are Arizonans and had just left 108* but closing the registers and blocking the air with our suitcase was not sufficient to warm the room. Susan, the general manager called an air conditioning repair man the next morning but rather than offering explanations or apologies moved us to an upgraded room on the second floor #11, where we spent an exceptionally enjoyable remainder of our stay. This is a perfect place to relax and detach from the lunacy that has seized our country. There is no TV on site. There is wifi but seriously, wouldn't it be nice to not spend your vacation staring at the mindless drivel on that tiny screen!! Breakfasts are professionally prepared each morning by 2 chefs, there is a charcuterie wine happy hour each afternoon, fresh cookies, cakes, tea, coffee. We met several other guests for enjoyable conversation and sharing ideas for activities in the area. The most outstanding feature of the facility is the staff. This is a team of high quality young people all with goals and ambitions and a clear dedication to personalized caring and service for the guests fortunate enough to have chosen this B&B.

It was my first experience at a B&B I believe we could not pick a better one. The staff is outstanding as were the morning breakfasts. In the afternoons their is wine and cheese served and in the evenings homemade desserts and coconut macaroon cookies to die for.The rooms are very clean and beds are super comfortable excellent showers. The location is perfect a block from the historic commercial district terrific shopping and exceptional restaurants. The only negative I had there is no TV in room or on property but the WiFi is excellent.Highly recommended. Also the property manager is always on premise and a fantastic host.

This place is really five stars but what bothered me is that neither the website nor anyone I talked to said there was no tv in room. As a golfer had looked forward to relaxing to watch the PGA and of course could not. Everything abt the Wickwood is first rate. Breakfasts/snacks/ staff/ room all great. But places that have no tvs let people know. To me this is purposeful

Our May 2024 Wickwood Inn (“WI”)stay was the best ever. Service, food, room accommodations, evening wine/cheese social hour were top notch. The WI staff catered to our all our needs with sincere and pleasant interactions. What a wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our visit to Saugatuck, Michigan and staying at the beautiful Wickwood Inn. We especially enjoyed the afternoon wine & Charcutier tray, baked goods and chocolate. The inn is laid out well to enjoy our treats while conversing with other guests and staff. Both staff and guests shared their knowledge of the area, restaurants and things to do. The bathroom shower was beautiful and loved the robe for relaxation and the slippers. We were given a menu to choose our breakfast the evening before. Breakfast was fantastic with a self-serve bar of fresh baked goods, fresh baked breads, fruit, juices, coffee and tea and then our chosen breakfast meal. Our favorites were on the menu: Smoked Salmon platter and Eggs Benedict. The grounds are well cared for, with outdoor seating or a beautiful screened in porch to enjoy your coffee or wine.

The entire experience was very well done. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good. The ambulance was exceptional. We were there for two nights. The room was well done with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was totally updating from the previous time we stayed there. I highly recommend the Wickwood Inn.

What a beautiful experience! My husband and I scheduled a weekend getaway at The Wickwood and could not have been more charmed! Beautifully appointed rooms, a cozy fire constantly going in the main area, fresh flowers, chilled wine at happy hour, delicious breakfast, and a truly kind and joyful staff- The Wickwood has it all. We truly felt that we had stepped through a looking glass and into a fairytale. We will we back soon!
