Seasons Golf, Leisure, Spa

The place is lovely and great. Its more of a place to visit in summer or during warmer conditions though, because there is next to nothing to do if you're there during winter, especially if you're there with kids. Granted it was a nice breather from the buzz of Jozi, but thats literally all it has to offer. The staff and service as well as facilities are amazing, everything else is appreciated. Just short of alternative entertainment during winter time and the colder seasons.

On arrival I knew that we might be in for a mediocre stay at Seasons as they couldn't even get the basics right like replenish toilet paper and soap in the reception bathroom. On arrival in our room, the adjoining living area that we paid for was locked and we had to drive back to reception to complain as there is no phone or contact number supplied in the room. They did however eventually manage to unlock the inter-leading doors. The bedroom was clean and comfy, however the parties taking place in every direction around our accommodation kept us awake for much of the evening. After a long day out on the second day, we got back to have a shower, but there were no towels and the 1 hand towel that they left for us was dirty with sand; in fact it was the same towel that was hanging up in our unit on arrival. There was also no toilet paper nor coffee mugs or teaspoons and again we had a somewhat sleepless night due to the surrounding parties. The wifi never worked at all, there was no dishwashing liquid or soap in the bathrooms and the fire wood that we purchased at the small spaza shop was damp. I have given Seasons 2 stars as the restaurant was superb and (although the course was difficult), the golf was amazing.

Very disappointed, they are unorganized, the units are in a state, the restaurant and shop have no stock of anything. And it's like booking a room next to a club. They advertise a strict no noise after 10pm policy, yet there is loud music and shouting coming from every side. Will never be back..

the issues i have are as follows: - The night of the 20th was a Sleepless night, there were cars parking in the Car park outside our Lodge 9 from 8pm, they were drinking, loud music, and repairs being done to the car, and then they would rev the engines and race up the road and around the place. and returned to the car park only to repeat the same over and over. The noise carried on till 5am the next morning, we had little kids with us and they battled to remain asleep, I tried calling the reception after the hours number with no luck, there was no security that patrolled etc., which brings to question how safe are we staying in this place? issues i had inside our lodge 9 Room 33 - Shower had mold, roof had mold, show door broken, does not close so water pours onto the floor Bed on the right hand side is broken, couldn't sleep on that side!!! Room - 34 Shower head unusable, water sprays from the top and sides Room 35 - Globes by the dressing area not working Room 36 - Shower Head unusable , Water sprays from the Tops and Sides. Kitchen - A Lot of the dishes are not there, basic items that you need are not there like bowels for breakfast, knifes, toaster etc .. The pots handles and lids are broken, the Oven Door doesn't close fully had to use a Chair to hold it closed while in use Reception said there is free Wi-Fi, yet there was no Wi-Fi at all in the rooms The next morning i went to reception to speak to the manager , no manager was available so a lady named Lynette spoke to me she said they are aware of the car in question ( white Audi) and that i am not the only lodge that has complained, and told me that the issues i am reporting regarding the inside of my lodge will be taken care of that day and that the General manager will call me as soon as he is back. I didn't get this call back and no one came to the unit to attend to the issues. On Monday I checked out and I left a message with reception to tell Lynette that no one had come to attend to the issues and no one had called me as she had promised. , and till today I have heard nothing Safety is a Huge issue here, and not sure how this place is rated 4 Stars

There's too many complaints to fit in this box. I've asked for a full refund failing which I'll have to sue the resort. Don't waste your money. I have written to the resort and laid out the main complaints. When I was there (16-18 Feb) there were more guests complaining than happy guests. People were trying to get out of their bookings. I would love to know how many complaints they received just on that one weekend. It's sad my 40th celebration was ruined.

I personally loved my stay at Seasons. There is was enough room in the house and we had respectful neighbors and even made some new friends. There was enough there to keep a child, teen and adult entertained. I had stayed there for 1 week with my family and we really enjoyed ourselves. By far one of the best holiday destinations I've been to. Love it!

Honestly never been to a hotel which puts guests up in locations that are half built. The "Premium" (was anything but) villa that we paid for had no internal doors, water all over the floor, none of the basic amenities you would expect (like outside table, oven, hot water, etc.) were working. The pool was there however not built into the ground or have any water. Security was an absolute joke and we even saw people taking the neighbours table as there's was also broken, to top it off we were ROBBED on the last night. Overall management were no where to be seen, and even after our constant pushing there was no compensation offered. STAY HERE AT OWN RISK, do not recommend.

Been to Seasons before and this place has deteriorated so much, it doesn't look like any maintenance has bean done in 10 years, broken doors, cracks, doorlocks and lids not fitting pans. Shower door leaks so much that it floods the bathroom. The noise rules are not monitored and the experience sitting outside on the patio just horrible with noise levels unbearable. No night frill on bed so base really dirty. Broken safe and clothes horse. Staff trying their best but clearly no competent Management. The Spa experience for 6 of us was varied, from great to terrible, a 45 minute, supposed to be 1 hour treatment was the worst. 7 people for lunch and they completely forgot my order, ate 15 minutes after all were done. We had a midweek break and the golf course was closed on Monday and Thursday, what a waste. Club house poorly run and course not well maintained. I would not recommend Seasons to anyone, stay away

Seasons Golf Resort it's not what you see on the pictures. While the grounds are kept neat, but can't say the same about their rooms. I couldn't sleep their beds are so uncomfortable. I informed the receptionist and they changed the bed, but it was still the same. Just wish that they could maintain their inside the facilities as well especially their beds. The restaurant's food was good. Their parking was also an issue, the are certain rooms where you just park far from your room. Maybe instead of replying to the review, Apologizing they should attend to the issues raised and invite us back to the resort so that we can indeed see if are reviews are taken serious.
