Hotels near Sea Breeze Residential Park (Formerly Elm Tree) in Seaton Carew

It was an ok stay but for us we didn’t realise we booked when the football was on and the away fans had pretty much booked the hotel and to say it was noisy was an understatement. Staff were friendly enough but didn’t ask us if we wanted Breakfast or if we had stayed there before so seemed pretty sub standard and not really that invested in what they were doing. We had planned to use the pool but some local kids sneaked in and used it making it loud and unusable during our stay they were just causing problems and the hotel didn’t act. This is the biggest failing the hotel fails to act we had loud guests door slamming music playing loud football fans going mad till 4am and nothing was done about it. The beds were not that comfy as sadly neither of us had a good nights sleep on top of the noise by others the rooms offered no sound proofing. No air conditioning which is crazy in this day and age and not even a fan in the room, when we asked for one we just got laughed at and told good luck with that by housekeeping. This places lacks staff that care or take pride in their work. The bathroom had no fan so when used steam went everywhere and the water pressure and temperature was terrible it wasn’t overly clean so couldn’t use the bath. Only thing going for this hotel is it’s location but we wouldn’t use it again as the rooms need a lot of TLC and the staff need extra training more so on the communication front. Upon check out we weren’t even asked did we enjoy our stay as we wanted to raise our concerns.

Visited the hotel for 3 months whilst working away on a project. The hotel itself is clean & modern with everything in place to accommodate all guests. The staff were fantastic, from checking in to travel arrangements and even first aid for when life’s no so great moments occur. Vicky & the team run a tight ship, I’d like to say a special thanks to the following members of staff Andrew , Jay, Kennidi, Katie, Craig, Daniel, Brandon, Dawn, Tia, Charis, Carmen, Louis. All of the above exceeded my guest expectations in going the extra mile to ensure a friendly and welcoming environment. Jay in particular was always a smiling face & on hand to help with any guest needs, a true asset to the hospitality industry. If you are staying in Middlesbrough no matter the occasion then be sure to make your trip just that bit better by popping in and meeting the team.

Our usual hotel of choice for yet another Hartlepool weekend break. Excellent position near train and bus links. No food onsite but plenty of options nearby. A slight problem with the rooms booked due to redecorating commencing whilst we were staying but all handled as well as could be by moving the coffee machines and a chair into the standard room. Internet still included as per original booking and worked as well as anywhere I've stayed recently. No complaints, they have to redecorate sometime. Staff first class and friendly as ever. Will be back for another break in due course.

The owner is very welcoming, not big, the bathroom is a bit small, but the price is cheap and close to the beach. No breakfast, but you can ask the owner if he is willing to bring you a breakfast the next morning. No dinner, go north along the road at the door, don't turn, it takes about 15 minutes to walk, you walk to the house on both sides of the road, there are restaurants, there is a fish shop, the fried fish inside is very cheap, two people spent £12. And then I want to say, remember the password and try to open the lock yourself, because the owner is off work at night.

More like a club 18-30 experience. The hotel was fantastic, food excellent and staff went way, way beyond. However, the main function of a hotel is to have somewhere to sleep. The hotel had two weddings on the night of my stay and between 12:45 and 14:30 I was unable to sleep for the screaming, laughing, partying that was going on throughout the corridors. I never heard any staff trying to resolve the situation, just plenty of noise. I had to pay £20 surcharge for my dogs to stay and they were not allowed In the restaurant - which is very reasonable, but have to say that they were better behaved that the other animals who were not required to pay any surcharge or not required to follow any basic behavioural rules. On checkout, I was not even asked if I had a pleasant stay. I assume the staff did not want confirmation of their mismanagement. If this is the sort of establishment used but Trip.com, then I can only say first impressions go a long way and I will stick to other hotel brokers in future.

Good location, hotel facilities

Overall, I was very satisfied. The surrounding environment is wonderful. It was very comfortable. The food was very varied and I never got tired of it for three days.
