Hotels near Wat Ban Dai Chang in Sena District

Traveled with family and booked for 3 nights. When I first arrived in Ayutthaya, I wanted to return for 2 days when I grabbed and arrived at the hotel. I only stayed for one night. Because Ayutthaya is small, it doesn't make much sense to stay for a long time, and the hotel is located on the outskirts of Ayutthaya, so the transportation is inconvenient. After moving in, I found that this paradise has a unique cave, dense plants, natural ecology, and the stilted buildings are very characteristic, one house by one, with enough space and privacy. In addition, there are hammocks and pavilions by the river for relaxation and daze. One day stayed in the hotel without going out. The restaurant is convenient if you have a choice. After all, the traffic is really inconvenient. You have to sit for about 20 minutes to get to a crowded place!

Stayed Two nights from 21/09/22 to 23/09/22 Located within close proximity to the ruins of Ayutthaya, this is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. I stayed in room 14 which was a double room access from the side of the main building. It was a fairly nice room for the price however there was no safe or fridge. The double bed was also only a mattress on the floor so there was that risk of bugs and ants making their way on to the bed itself. The gardens are a nice place to sit and have a drink however you will need to stop by a shop to pick something up as there is no bar or drinks fridge. Overall it is a nice budget place to stay. if you like luxury, it probably isn't for you however if you want something a little different, which is cheap, clean and well kept, I would highly recommend.

I stayed here for five nights on the final leg of my 2022 north-south road trip. Many of the guest houses in this neighborhood are still closed, this hotel was one of the only options I could find in this area. This is a pretty typical Thai/Asian-style city hotel. Behind the hotel, they have another building that is similar to a motel in the US. This is where I stayed. From the outside, it looks good, but the rooms are very basic with few amenities. Again, typical of a budget hotel that would cost 500 THB in another part of the country. At a walk-in rate of 790 THB, I thought the room was overpriced. On a positive note: the air conditioning, hot water, and refrigerator worked well and it was very clean. There is sufficient, on-site parking for those who self-drive.

Toilets in room not maintenance, especially flushing. Food and beverage are not ready for guests.

The room is not very large but impecable, with very clean bathroom. The hotel is very warm and the couple that manages the hotel is very friendly and helpful: it reserved a car with driver to join the road station at the price of a tuk-tuk... Breakfast is simple but very convenient. The hotel is close to a few temples.

The hotel is located on a fast-flow road in Ayutthaya, although traffic is not intense and the night sleeps quietly. The hotel is almost entirely made of wood, immersed in green and with large well furnished rooms. The furniture is in excellent conditions and the feeling is more than pleasant. In the morning breakfast is served on the ground floor, some of the products of which you can serve in a separate way (marmelade, bread, corn-flakes, etc.) and the main dish (omelite, rice, etc.) are present on a table. The cook is prepared by the cook. There is a small food market at short distance, but a little further, you can also get to the most famous and big one that develops along the river. Some archaeological sites are also accessible by foot, while for the most remote are the use of the car or bike recommended.

Today I would like to review Baan Agong Riverside Homestay. I have to be honest that this is my first time booking for this trip to Ayutthaya. Overall is very good, good a**osphere, located along the Pa Sak River. It's a two-story wooden house, just like our dream house😂. The surroundings are shady, mixed in Thai and Chinese style. We like that it's very close to the train station. Walk into the alley for a moment. The auntie who takes care of me is lovely and gives a lot of information. I would say that the room is a fan room where we are. It's a shared bathroom. It's really suitable for relaxing. Because he stops using his voice after 10 p.m., let's just say there's not much to explain. Come to Ayutthaya, you must try staying here.

Friendly staff and the price is worth it! I have been here for 3 times. This place near the city and easy to find a food. There're bike cycle for rent. Good for family or friend trip because there is a room for 3 in 1 and 4 in 1 also.

Quite a decent place. Older style hotel. Room fine, good river view too. Bed comfortable. Do not expect to have a refreshing shower unless you are under 150cm as it is fixed to the wall and made for small people. Anyone taller and bending down the only option, very poor really. Pool was quite good but cold as it gets no sun until much later in the afternoon. Refreshing though. Various on-site restaurants. Bar near lobby area, prices way too much I noticed. Breakfast was quite good although the staff were not friendly, seemed disinterested and some often seen larking about maybe as it was not too busy when we went. 5 minutes walking distance to train station where there are Tuk Tuks and a few eating places as well as the usual street food. 7-11 too. Train to or from BKK is worth the experience (but takes a while to go 70km) and 3rd class trip costs 15 THB...wtaf! The boat river crossing is closed at the moment as the river is too high. Getting across the river needs to be by Tuk Tuk or taxi really. Normally at least one Tuk Tuk outside the hotel too. You know the form, must haggle them down. We used Grab a lot and got where we wanted to go. Probably can walk to some of the historic sites but probably not advised and Grab is cheap and has AC so is the way to go. There is Soi Farang and Grand Street for a livelier atmosphere with more bars and restaurants, again a cheap taxi ride away. Overall not a bad place and decent location for a reasonable and not too expensive a price.

The hotel is clean, sanitary and hot water is sufficient, the decoration style is modern and simple, and the location is close to the main attractions. You can use bicycles for free until ten o'clock in the evening. The owner's service awareness and attitude are very good. Breakfast has bread and coffee. Go to the bus station and train station owner The price for car hire is reasonable; the disadvantage is that it is a little far away from the official restaurants and 711 (within one kilometer). Of course, the store can do general meals. There are simple small shops and noodle shops in the village at the door, which is generally good!
