Intercontinental Seoul COEX Conveniently located in COEX mall, tons of food and shopping available here. Booked a king classic room with lounge access to celebrate wedding anniversary. Received complimentary red wine. Room is well maintained but design looks tired and dated. Luckily the club lounge is exceptional. Afternoon tea is served from 3pm to 5pm. Evening canapés from 5.30pm to 8pm. Food quality is good and staffs are friendly. I would strongly recommend to get room with lounge benefits else the dated room design doesn't justify its price tag.

everything was close to perfect, except house keeping was extremely stingy with refilling our 1 quota per day le labo, i was only given two sets for a 4 night stay at their premium suite which i was told is their top tier category. concierge was amazingly helpful, thumbs up to Owen who went the extra mile to ensure our trip was filled with activities and restaurants we wanted to try.

The room is very nice and the location is very convenient. It is next to the shopping mall, but it is closed on Mondays. The hotel is very new and the lobby service is quite friendly. I checked out at 11. In fact, the location in Jiangnan may not be good for tourists. It’s so convenient. It’s still a long way to go to Hongdae or Myeongdong by taxi. I stayed at the AC Marriott in South Korea for the first three nights. The room was not big. In comparison, the InterContinental seems to be quite cost-effective. The laundry and care are provided by Byredo, and there are also some in the surrounding area. There are a lot of delicious food. I like the color of the bathroom very much. It is big and bright. If you put on makeup, it will not be too thick. Hahahaha. Next time I come again, I will stay two nights in Gangnam and three nights near Hongdae~

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English, which made everything very easy. I was just staying for the weekend for a concert and it was great for just an overnight stay getaway. This may just be a personal thing, but there were no USB ports only plug ports. I had forgotten one of my adapters at home thinking it should be fine, but actually need to go out and buy one, but there is plenty of cafés and convenient stores around the area and it was able to meet all my needs

The hotel is gorgeous but the staff are not so friendly! Except for the housekeeping lady who smiles a lot and talks to us guest, and the door man at the entrance downstairs. The rest of them are no smiley and strictly work focused! They look and tired and kind of pressured that relating to guest is not a priority😩 Too bad!

Next to the hotel is Bongeunsa Subway Station, there are shopping malls nearby, and Bongeunsa Temple is worth a walk. The room is not big and quite clean. The front desk service can also help call a car every time, and the room can also be obtained in advance. It’s just that during our stay, the price on the website for that day was suddenly much cheaper than the price we booked in advance.

Front office staffs were great, housekeeping not really attentive to stains on bedding. My duvet cover was dirty after the 1st night and housekeeping team did not change it for me when they made up the room. Front Desk said they do not have any housekeeping staff for the night and they can only get me a new duvet from elsewhere (maybe another room?) as I came back to the hotel late at night. Room size was just nice for 1-2 pax, not much food options around if you are a night owl.

The hotel is very nicely located next to the COEX mall so it is very convenient to get to the hotel from both Gimpo Airport (Metro line 9) and Incheon Airport (direct city bus 6301) with public transportation. The room was very cosy and comfortable. Unfortunately I found quite a few hair in all the bathroom (in the sink, the bath…) when I checked in. This is a big turn down for me. Besides that everything was clean. The little gym downstairs is quiet and nice to use (maybe it would be a good idea to provide a yoga mat in the gym). A big plus : there is a laundry machine downstairs that you can use. That was really helpful as I have been on the road for almost 2 weeks now.

The room was still clean, and I couldn't flush the toilet paper, but I think it's still a good deal for this price in Gangnam. It was a short walk from the station, and although it was a little far away, there were several convenience stores. I was able to stay with peace of mind without worrying about the amenities. There was occasional noise from karaoke in the middle of the night, and there was a club behind the hotel, so I thought it was scary.

I stayed here for 8 days. The reception staff were helpful and polite when we checked in, the lift's very fast. The room appeared clean and had good amenities, 2 bottles of water in the fridge, coffee machine, large bed, we loved the TV above the bath, kido loved the heated toilet. It looks clean, clean bed sheets, then I slide the bathroom door closed and it's pretty dusty. No problem, I grab a tissue and wipe it down, I have a dust allergy. We lost something in between getting out of the cab and sitting down in the room so I try to find it, I look under the bed, it's really dusty and also has rubbish from previous occupants. We could hear the traffic outside but it's a busy road and it's understandable, we didn't find it annoying. There are strict check in and check out times and they won't charge you extra if you stick to these, they need time to clean the room and get it ready (they do need to slide the bathroom doors and clean these though, and under the beds too). I had a shower the next day, the waterfall shower's not easy to use and there's no instructions, but there's a handheld shower head attached to the wall. Great, I thought, that will help, It would have helped, but there's no seal around the bottom of the shower door and there's a gap, and the shower head faced the shower door. 30 minutes later I magage to clean the large amount of water in the bathroom and around the toilet up using towels, and I pop downstairs to let them know there's a problem with their shower. They sent someone up right away, I explained the issue, the shower door is missing a seal, he says 'I can't sort that' and walks out. No more showers then. We get back from a walk at around 8pm, and there's a very high pitched whistle coming from the ceiling in our room. I check the lights, the air conditioning and it whistles for about 30 minutes so I pop to the reception desk and let them know. Someone comes up right away and lets us know it's a valve in the bathroom ceiling, there's a hatch, he opens it up, and it stops. Yay! 5 minutes later... yup, it's back. He comes back and adjusts the valve once again. It stops. 5 minutes later... yup. Then it stops. Until the following evening. I let reception know it's still happening, they send someone out, again, it stops, again, and starts, again a few minutes later. It stops and starts throughout the night, midnight, 1am, 4am, 9am. We're tired, I'm rather grumpy, so we ask to change rooms so we can sleep. They check with the manager and give us another room. The new room has a seal at the bottom of the shower, unfortunately their water fall shower lasts for 1 second if you try to use it as the handle on the door self adjusts. There's still dust on the sliding doors and under the bed. We're exhausted having had a pretty bad night due to the alarm, so we sleep, a lot. Location is good as it is very near Samseong Station, Exit 7. Also within 6-8mins walking distance to COEX Mall. Amenities - I have one star only because when we requested for extra pillows, they informed us that there isn’t any extra pillows available. This is the first time I have heard that extra pillows were not available. Pillows were also very soft and I had to fold in half in order to have some support. Cleanliness - 3 stars as the floor near the side table was rather dusty. As the floor is not carpeted, we could see the dust near the side tables.

Parking is convenient as there is a mechanical parking lot. Although it is a tourist hotel, I was embarrassed because there were no multi-outlets (I guess it is a tourist hotel for Koreans). It's so embarrassing that there is no middle door between the bathroom and the room. Somewhere between a tourist hotel and a motel... The lobby and information are very clean and nice. Oh, I was so disappointed with the dryer. There was a product that was as big as the palm of your hand and seemed like you could buy it for 5,000 won… .. ㅠㅠ
