Savoy Hotel Myeongdong Reviews

Location is great. Just outside Myeongdong Exit 6. Though have to climb a flight of stairs up. But alternately can exit by Exit 7 and ride the escalator up. Room was spacious for 2 adults & 2 kids. We enjoyed our stay at Savoy.

The hotel is located in Myeong-dong area and also very near the Line 4 -＞ Myeong-dong MRT station. We have been stayed so many times. Recommended hotel. 👍🏻

Located in the heart of Myeongdong and you can't say anything bad just because the location alone is a perfect spot for any travelers.

Stay there for 1 night on 22 Dec 2023., location very good cos is walking distance from Myeongdong line, and the hotel is within the Myeongdong shopping streets,overall ok

The room is rather compact but still comfortable for a family of 3. It can be slightly noisy but no big deal. Location is very convenient as it is near the metro and airport bus stop.

Very good location if you want to stay close to the Myeongdong station (baby blue line linked to Seoul Station for KTX). This will be right within the side of Myeongdong shopping area, and taxi is still able to reach it even in evening time (more crowded, and some areas are close off to cars in Myeongdong). Hotel looks clearly old and basic when I arrived (first impressions). But it is generally clean, and no complaints about my stay

Excellent location along Myeongdong walking street and near to metro exits that also serves as pick-up points for local tours.

3 star Old hotel but clean hotel. good location very centralized easy to commute by bus or train. Airport bus also walking distance. You can take a easy stroll back from insadong too.

Perfect location, just a few steps from Exit 6 of Myeongdong station, plenty of restaurants and shopping just downstairs. The staff were somewhat helpful in recommending restaurants nearby. There is a cafe on 2nd floor that can serve breakfast and just staying at the hotel gives a discount coupon, but it seems to take a while to make the breakfast so I did not get to experience that. There are laundry machines outside by the convenience store, but it costs 3000w for wash and dry each, and the machine doesn't give detergent and there is no good options to get single use portion detergent. The room was relatively small, but had all of the essentials. My room's AC did not seem to cool the room at all, so there may be some maintenance issues there. Overall, the room was great for traveling, as the stalls that stay open even late at night meant no need to worry about finding food even when a lot of restaurants close by 8, right after sunset.
