Placido y Grata

A perfect boutique hotel in a wonderful street in Seville. Everything was wonderful in the hotel: From the tasteful modern and clean decor to the wonderful service from everyone on staff to the great food - breakfast (accommodating to both gluten-free and vegetarian) with real fresh juices. We also enjoyed dinner at their lovely restaurant across the street. We also had a couple of drinks on their lovely patio, which were also lovely. The sweet staff left us a little sweet chocolate waffle in the room - making sure we knew it was gluten-free (see the image I added). If you love great design, good food, and modernism - this is the place for you. It's an unexpected gem of a place, and I am so glad we booked it, knowing it's quite new. Highly recommended!

The hotel is decorated beautifully and our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly. I would like to give a special thank you to Cristina and her colleague on reception ( guy with short dark hair) who I am sorry to say I can’t remember his name but both were excellent and made all the difference with their friendliness and as if nothing was too much trouble. They definitely are an asset to the hotel. If I had to make any criticism it has nothing to do with the staff but the breakfast system put into place by management. It isn’t acceptable in a hotel boutique or otherwise that there is no coffee machine where the breakfast is served. The on sight coffee shop has the only coffee machine so if they are busy with customers hotel guests have to wait till it is brought through. The first morning we had finished eating before we got our coffee. The second day we ordered two each incase we couldn’t get a refill. We were not the only ones having this problem. Also at 9:45 there was no one to replenish milk, juice etc and people were waiting for someone to ask. Maybe a little rethink is needed. This isn’t meant as a complaint but rather an observation.

We wanted a more “authentic “ hotel experience in Seville and the Placido y Grata proved to be an excellent choice. The location was tremendous ~ lots of nearby restaurants and attractions. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We are pleased to offer our recommendation.

Great hotel! Friendly staff, lovely room with comfortable bed and decent shower. We were in room 9 which didn’t have a good view but we were out or using the private terrace attached to room 14 which our friends had booked. We were woken early by classical music being played we think from the room next door but earplugs dealt with that. Breakfast was good with a great selection of juice, cereal, bread, pastries and continental offerings. We didn’t have any eggs but they were happily catering to all types. Coffee was delicious. Would definitely stay there again

WOW! I mean WOW! This is a great hotel. Stylish without being overstated, superbly looked after, beautiful situation in a little back street all of 3 minutes from the main shopping streets. Quiet but with some welcome bustle. And the staff. Just amazing. Thank you.

Very cozy, stylish boutique hotel. Rooms are amazing and small terrace is wonderful. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Breakfast area is nice. Breakfast is good. Walkable distance to Alcázar and other major attractions.

We only had two nights here and managed to have coffee and snacks at the cafe, an excellent lunch at their restaurant across the way (patronised by locals for their important Maundy Thursday lunch) and two breakfasts. The breakfast was fine - just some cultural differences eg cold milk not available for cereal, they had to get it from the cafe and when I ordered a poached egg, 2 came in a small bowl so I had to go and make toast to go with it. That said the food was yummy, especially at the restaurant where we were very lucky to score a table for lunch at 1.30 (early by local standards.) We had a superior room with terrace - our own balcony with chairs. The room looked out over the interior courtyard - very pretty and quiet while we were there because the cocktail bar was rained out by the damp weather. All round, an excellent stay.

The location is perfect - 10/15 minutes from everything. Staff is extremely helpful- thank you Isabel from FO for your huge help and patience. Breakfast is small but displays quality instead of quantity. Products are fresh. Green juice is really tasteful. Processes are smooth. You definitely feel great and relaxed. Cosmetics are consciously chosen in respect of sustainability. Thank you all, you made this birthday trip unforgettable.

This Danish designed boutique hotel is right in the centre of things within walking distance of all the Seville sights. It is immaculately clean and pretty with a great courtyard and lovely staff. The bedrooms are fairly basic but funky and fun. Our bedroom was overlooking the front and the only downside was we had to keep the curtains closed because the houses across the street can look straight in, a mere few metres across the street. Great breakfast choice and a fantastic coffee shop on site and its own restaurant across the street. Cute roof top terrace. Perhaps could do with more comfortable lounge type chairs here and in the courtyard. Would definitely return. Had a wonderful weekend.
