The room was clean and tidy, with complete and new facilities. The attention to detail was excellent 👍. The breakfast had a rich variety and tasted good! Everything was great and comfortable. It's also very close to all the attractions, within walking distance. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends who plan to visit Shaoxing!

Compared to city hotels, this place offers better value for money. The hotel staff at the front desk were very welcoming. The location is also great. The rooms are more spacious than those in the city, making for a comfortable stay. I've already returned for another visit.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. It's right next to the Former Residence of Wang Xizhi, so you're essentially staying within a scenic area, yet also in a residential neighborhood. It's very quiet at night. We ate three meals at a small restaurant across the street; many locals go there, and it's delicious and inexpensive 😋. The hotel facilities are very new, the beds are comfortable, and the cleanliness is top-notch. They even provide disposable bath towels, which is a great touch. The front desk staff was very patient and had a great attitude, helping us upgrade our room. Next time I visit, I'll definitely choose to stay here again!

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and Xunbaoji isn't far either. The subway station is a 10-minute walk away, and taxis are very convenient, usually costing under 10 yuan. There's road construction nearby recently, but it's not noisy. Restaurants might get a bit busy due to traffic. It's very easy to get to Shaoxing Station. The only downside was the summer heat, nearly 40 degrees Celsius!

Pros: For the price, the facilities exceeded expectations. The room decor was very stylish, with well-chosen interior colors, a vintage telephone, chic lamps, and black and white piano key tiles in the bathroom – all very photogenic. The largest soft furnishing in the room, the curtains, were beautiful and well-made, which is rare for a hotel. Disposable slippers weren't provided (though reusable ones were), but disposable bath towels were. The hotel is located on a trendy street with many restaurants. There are also convenience stores and a shopping mall nearby, making shopping easy. A small boat dock is not far away, and within a twenty-minute walk, there are several small streets with various shops, perfect for a stroll. Cons: The shower door seal at the bottom wasn't tight enough, causing water to leak out. The room's soundproofing wasn't great. There was also ongoing construction in the alley next to the hotel.

Excellent! It's clean, hygienic, and the hotel is very quiet. It's about a 10-yuan taxi ride to Lu Xun's former residence and close to 40 yuan to Anchang Ancient Town. There are also many restaurants nearby. The lobby offers free black tea, and they sell茴香豆 (fennel beans), 豆腐乳 (fermented tofu), and 乌干菜 (dried black vegetables) at the same price as outside, which is cheaper than at the high-speed train station. I recommend it as a good stopover.

The hotel's location is great, just a few hundred meters from the Former Residence of Wang Xizhi, so it's easily walkable. This hotel is steeped in Jiangnan scholarly charm and boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the dining offers authentic, distinctive cuisine. The staff are warm and professional, and it provides great value for money. Highly recommended. (The above was just to meet the word count.) Here's the real positive review: For a hotel that costs just over 200 RMB a night, including breakfast, they actually served their own handmade xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) for breakfast – that's incredibly rare! Even hotels costing over 2,000 RMB a night usually serve pre-made xiaolongbao for breakfast.

It is a good hotel, the staff does not speak English but the location and rooms are perfect. The breakfast was tricky.

Conveniently located in the old town of Shaoxing, the hotel is within easy reach to all the attractions in town. The street the hotel is on itself is also full of beautiful old buildings. Staff members were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, clean and fitted with all the modern technologies and conveniences. The only slight concern was that the air-conditioning system was a bit noisy, especially obvious at night.
