Very good for short business

Overall this hotel met our needs for a less expensive hotel for a quick overnight stay. We didn't need all the frills on this stay. The hotel is an older hotel and has been renovated. The bathroom (tub and toilet) area and quite small but you can manage. They had a nice breakfast that started at 5:00a.m. which was great due to our early departure time.

The front desk person was great, check in was very fast and easy. The room was nice enough and there were enough towels, but the corners of the bathroom and the corners of the carpet had not been cleaned in a long time and the couch was stained. The surfaces in the room were all streaked with whatever they used to clean. Downtown Florence but pretty noisy, with a lot of street noise and motorcycles, and the walls here are pretty thin. There was a big metal thing sticking out from the bed that you could cut your leg on and the elevators always smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast was pretty bad, with scrambled eggs but no omelets, no sausage or potatoes, kielbasa that wasn't even hot. All the juices were watered down. Overall, I thought it was overpriced.
