Came here solo to escape to the mountains for Children's Day, haha! 😄 This villa guesthouse is nestled halfway up the mountain in Overseas Chinese Town East. It's incredibly quiet, the air is great, and it's surrounded by lush greenery – exactly my style! 😍 I rarely stay in guesthouses because I always worry about cleanliness. But this place is fantastic, super clean! The bedding was really comfortable too, I actually had a rare night of high-quality sleep. ☺️ My room also had a large balcony with a view. As for facilities, there's a hot tub and a pool. There weren weren't many people, so I practically had the place to myself. Breakfast is served individually, and you get amazing mountain views. You can also head up to Tea Stream Valley on the mountaintop to ride the small train. They offer shuttle service to Dameisha Metro Station and the mountaintop. Overall, a pretty good experience!

Environment: The environment is fantastic, with lush greenery all around and surprisingly few mosquitoes. Nestled against the mountains, it offers expansive views and incredibly fresh air. The abundance of green is super therapeutic. Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive. The pool and lounge areas are well-maintained and spotless. All household amenities are provided, making for a comfortable and relaxed stay. Service: The service is excellent. The owner is warm and thoughtful, responding quickly to any requests. They are gentle and attentive, ensuring a top-notch experience. Overall, it’s the perfect place to relax with friends, away from the city's hustle and bustle. It's quiet, pleasant, and offers incredible value for money. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely be back!

A rare oasis of tranquility in Shenzhen! It's only a 40-minute drive from the city, and as soon as you arrive, you're surrounded by lush trees and birdsong – so incredibly relaxing. The restaurant is also excellent, and all the staff are super friendly. I'll definitely come back here to de-stress next time work gets too much.

To be fair, this hotel is absolutely stunning and boasts an excellent location surrounded by beautiful scenery. From the window, you get breathtaking views of both the sea and the natural mountain landscape up above. That said, getting around proved quite difficult for us as foreign visitors, even though the hotel runs a twice-daily shuttle bus to and from the town centre. The shuttle driver himself was incredibly kind, and we really liked him, but that could not make up for the other inconveniences. There are virtually no shops nearby, and parcel deliveries of essential items are not possible here either. We booked accommodation at this hotel partly because we believed there would be a swimming pool right next to our unit, yet we discovered the pool is situated in a separate building block, requiring a walk to reach it. Mosquitoes were also abundant; sitting out on the balcony was completely unfeasible. The views are undeniably gorgeous, and this spot would suit travellers seeking a quiet, secluded retreat. However, it was far too inconvenient for our needs. Having your own vehicle would likely make staying here much more manageable. The breakfast offering is not well-suited for foreign guests either. On our first morning, we were served a pre-plated traditional Chinese breakfast with no choices available there was no selection of food to pick from as we pleased. The following day, a member of the front desk staff asked if we would prefer alternative meals and offered to prepare omelettes for us, though we declined the offer. All things considered, the hotel rooms themselves are pleasant. Our experience was a mixed bag, about fifty-fifty. We even booked an additional room shortly after arriving, drawn in by the peaceful natural surroundings at first. Yet we quickly encountered drawbacks: the unusable balcony, the inconveniently located swimming pool, the persistent mosquitoes, and other small frustrations. Ultimately, whether this hotel works for you entirely depends on what you hope to get out of your trip

It was a great travel experience. Both the kids and adults were very relaxed, the service was excellent, and the room view was fantastic!

The extra-large private garden is elegant and relaxing, and there's a clean, comfortable pool perfect for unwinding. The environment in the mountains is serene and peaceful, with fresh air full of negative ions, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. The B&B's facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the staff are warm and attentive, patiently helping with any requests. The service is truly thoughtful. This is absolutely my top choice for a relaxing getaway and highly recommended!

Seriously unearthed a hidden gem! The environment is incredibly healing; opening the window reveals stunning views of green mountains and trees. The air is fresh, it's wonderfully quiet, and it's so relaxing to be away from the city hustle. The room was clean and tidy, decorated warmly and elegantly, and the bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The host was very warm, easygoing, and provided thoughtful, meticulous service with great attention to detail. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, perfect for photos. Dining and staying here were both very pleasant, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely come back for my next vacation and highly recommend it to everyone!

The service absolutely does not match the price! If you book a standard room, it's incredibly noisy with terrible soundproofing – you can literally hear the chickens next door crowing! If you opt for the most expensive room, the service still can't keep up. They promised to deliver breakfast to the room, but it never arrived. When I messaged them about bringing charcoal, they deliberately ignored it after replying once. If you're hoping for a high-floor room with a good view, be warned: the Wi-Fi is terrible, constantly disconnecting. Definitely don't book here if you plan on gaming during your stay. During the May Day holiday, the front desk was unstaffed for half an hour! This place is located in a completely abandoned villa complex. If it's not a public holiday, definitely do not go – it's like staying in a ghost villa, you're the only one in the entire building, not even staff around.

We spent two weeks in China”s loud cities and for the last two days we chose this calm hotel. It was an excrellent choice! Calmess, comfort, clean hotel waited us. Thank you for the shuttlle from the metro, the welcome fruit, the present at the end of stay! The restaurant”s dinner was delicious, and we were grateful for the paper based menu, and not a QR code. The bathtub was lifesaving after 2 weeks walking. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, we loved the little animals in the garden, and the whole place was like in a Miyazaki movie. Thank you for the smooth communication via WeChat! I truly recimmend this place for everyone!

Our room was upgraded to a spacious one with a breathtaking view, especially beautiful with the morning mist. Since it's in the mountains, there were some mosquitoes, but the owner thoughtfully provided insect repellent. They also offer a convenient shuttle service to Overseas Chinese Town and Dameisha when heading down the mountain. Very considerate!

I had high hopes looking at the pictures, especially since I was traveling with two kids and thought they could enjoy the pool or hot spring, but it turned out neither was open. The room was extremely basic, practically bare. The bathroom lacked a separate shower area, and there wasn't even a place to put towels. The location in the mountains meant no delivery services were available. The hotel restaurant food was decent, but service was incredibly slow, and prices were quite high. The room was really too simple, with no facilities for kids. I definitely don't recommend it for families with children. My family couldn't stand it, so we checked out and headed straight to Atour in the city, which was a much more comfortable experience. Also, the guesthouse reception was directly opposite our room, offering zero privacy and a lot of noise. The actual place looks nothing like the pictures online.

The environment here is great; it feels different on sunny and cloudy days. I was lucky enough to experience both weather conditions during my two-day stay. Overall, it was excellent. I particularly loved this room type – the terrace is huge and open, offering fantastic views. I had only planned to stay one night, but as soon as I entered the room, I extended my stay. On a sunny day, the sunshine and greenery really lift your spirits!
