The location is absolutely beautiful! Great views, right on the beach and quiet. The pictures however need to be updated. The terrain surrounding the Hotel is a bit rough. They need to upgrade their furniture and redo some of the walkways. There is no path from the main road to reach the Hotel (cars can't use it, so we had to carry our bags through mud and diet to get there). The room was okay, not as clean as I would have liked, dirty flipflops were left in the room for guests to use. The bathroom is very outdated and needs to be renovated. The beach chairs were filthy too Also, the pool looked green to me, I wouldn't have used .
After seeing some Hotels nearby, we decided to cancel our stay and the manager and staff kindly agreed.
It's so sad because I do think that with some care and upgrades this Hotel would be absolutely stunning.

It was a trip I took with my family.
I stayed for 2 nights and the first view I saw was the best.
Rust has come out and there doesn't seem to be any green algae.
The swimming pool was full of green algae and it got all over my swimsuit.
The air conditioner broke down in the middle, but the time when the air conditioner did not work was
It was a hellish time, but the manager handled it very well.
Breakfast is also delicious.
I ordered a pineapple smoothie. In the morning, they made a smoothie with fresh fruit, but in the afternoon, they made a smoothie without fresh fruit. This boo boom is a bit questionable ^^;; The fresh fruit pineapple smoothie is absolutely delicious. Be sure to ask for it to be filled with fruit~~~~~
This is a hotel I came to after a good rest and play!

You&Me resort was beautiful, absolutely breathtaking. The beachfront location and the pool overlooking the sea was 5*. The service was excellent throughout our stay and we loved that the hotel offered a happy hour to their guests. The food to order was also good although I’d say the portions were slightly on the smaller side for the price you pay. They arranged a taxi service to the Koh Touch beach for $10pp (one way) which is quite expensive but given the remoteness and lack of roads / motor vehicles it is understandable. Warning - the road to reach the hotel is extremely bumpy!
Bottles of water, fresh towels and cleaning were provided in the rooms daily, which we thought was great. Breakfast buffet is also included as standard with the bungalow.
I would say this would be 5/5 stars but just a couple of things were missing during our stay that knocks it down ever so slightly.
We thought the Garden Bungalow we booked would come with a fridge, as it said online when we made the booking, and in the booklet in the room, however when we got there, there wasn’t one in the room. Also we had no WiFi reach in our room and little service, meaning we could only use our phone for internet nearer or at the reception. The WiFi was stronger by the pool and on the beach surprisingly. Maybe because we were the bungalow furthest away I’m not sure. :)
Regardless, it was an excellent stay and I would strongly recommend you book here when visiting Koh Rong.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were lucky to get ajoining rooms. The close proximity of the beach was so convenient. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The options at the restaurant were really good. We had a very early departure, but the hotel arranged a packed breakfast for us. I would definitely recommend staying here. This stretch of beach is perfect with less noise than other beaches on the island.

Good hotel. Yes, a lot old, but not critical. Now they are updating it, doing some repairs, and adding some paint.
Very clean, from the very morning the staff cleans the area and the beach. Very secluded. Breakfast is good.
The restaurant is expensive. But nearby, literally 50 meters away, there is a nondescript cafe, it’s not on the map, you can eat inexpensively and tasty (but it takes a long time). The owner is Turkish, you won’t pass by, he has hammocks and tents.
The hotel is quiet, no loud music at night, but it is also removed from the action.

The bungalows are very bare bones. There are gaps in the floorboards and wood panels of the walls. The bathroom has a small ”window” in the wall with no way to cover it for privacy. The windows in the bungalow do not lock and there is no storage locker that you can lock your valuables in so there is no security.
There are many roosters nearby that will be loud even at night and early in the morning.
The price is too high compared to the rooms with AC and no holes in the walls/floor. It should be at least the same price as the cost of a can of bug spray since they do not offer any!
Location is good and WiFi is good.

There is a special speedboat to this hotel, you can buy the speedboat ticket directly, it is very convenient for a person to go to and from 27 dollars. About 1 hour by boat, you can go directly to the hotel pier. The hotel’s beach is very beautiful, and the hotel park is also particularly suitable for taking pictures. There is no need to edit pictures at all. The scenery is very beautiful! There are also peacocks in the park, which the children love very much, and there are rabbits in the hotel introduction, but they are all dead after asking. The only dissatisfaction is that the breakfast is very bad, there is basically nothing to eat, lunch and dinner are all ordered in the hotel restaurant, the dishes ordered are good, and there are fast food fries, burgers and pizza in the park. Kids like it. Food, room hygiene is not bad, much better than other hotels in Koh Rong Island. This hotel is more suitable for a family to play, and you can see the mink when boating, which is very interesting!

VViktoriiaweiki absolutely love this place.
Food, beach, sea, pool everything was gorgeous. Any dish and drinks from menu was so much delicious.
Staff was so friendly and helpful.
It was really the best choice for such price.
Also I liked so much that can take for free some boats and kayaks from the hotel. We really had more fun there.
Also want to mention some minuses which maybe not totally connected with the hotel but would like somebody tell me in advance about it:
1) hotel doesn’t accept all cash. At our last day we need to get some changes and hotel didn’t accept my hundred dollar because there was some red stamp on it. As for me it’s so strange but I heard it could happen in Cambodia. But next day when we moved to the Sihanouk they accept this hundred dollar easily , so I don’t understand this logic too much. But even the hotel didn’t accept that hundred they still help us with some cash as for us it was urgent to buy tickets for early morning ferry.
2) and the biggest minus it was trip which we bought from the hotel: fishing +snorkeling +sunset+plankton
Never ever buy it! Safe 20$ for anything else. The most useless half of day of my trip was there. And what make me sad it was last day in the Koh Rong. Was upset that spent last evening at this stupid way.
The tour is organized by tourist group “three brothers “ and the hotel sell it. Could be nice if they tell from beginning that this trip is a total 💩and don’t allow spoil vocation of there customers. But anyway nobody force us to buy it so can’t totally blame hotel, but…😢
So will explain why I such upset about the trip. We came to the ferry and boat brought us to another place where stay 3 boats . Than we change boat and a guy just give us that special mask for snorkeling and tell: ok go… but our boat was staying between 2 other boats so how I should go I didn’t understand. After we sitting and don’t understand anything for 10-15 min other boats left than we decided to go inside water. There was no fish !!!!!!!!! Maybe maximum 5 fishes!!!!!! We saw more in the hotel.than fishing: they didn’t teach us anything didn’t explain anything we just stop they gave us something as thing for fishing and just went to sleep. Than after one hour when one chinese girl almost start to vomiting we went to dirty dirty and over dirty long set beach for sunset. And we arrived there around 3:30-4! So should wait for sunset 2 hours!!!!! When we ask to put at least music they said: captain want to sleep… And beach was over dirty!!!! Than they start to cook some food gave some drinks, we watch sunset was beautiful ( because thanks God they can’t spoil sunset) and then we went to watch plankton. I was so exited about that and than they stop us on the middle of the nowhere and don’t tell anything. Where is plankton? Full moon no have plankton… how we know it? Why we still stay in that place 30 mint. I would like to know answers for all this questions but nobody gave me it… so was the worst time from 1:30pm to 7:30pm. If don’t Wang to spoil u day never go there!!!!
BBoParking quite difficult due too many customers and the staffs not friendly at all. Bellboy come to pick my luggages from my car and then he drop off my luggages next to the walk way without tell me and i was looking my luggages. After checked in, they gave me the key card and not even tell me where the elevator is. This is my first time i go there, i can say that i need to find the elevator to access my room. When i comeback arrived in front hotel looking for parking, security keep standing and talk even see my car already stop in front of the hotel and they don’t tell us have space for park or not until i go asking him, do you have parking space.
GGuest UserA serene setting adorned our seaside villa & balcony atop, sea water lapping beneath. Villa 126 with vogue decor & a wraparound view to match was as perfect as the abundant sea life that exists below with crabs scurrying about doing their business a the sight of magnificent tropical fish of many colours including a school of Angelfish & an array of ever colourful coral spanned Pearl Resorts entire coastal boardwalk.
Sheer delight! The highlight being the view beneath the waters surface in a CLEAR KAYAK at 6:30am the silent serene glass like sea water enabled a mesmerising view; an array of intricate coloured corals with hundreds of fish weaving through its channels, unbelievable in our now ever changing climate BUT it was real! Can't fault this resort from the time we arrived to its end the facilities and activities & to the hospitality staff incl. the managers to the service staff were all outstanding & waterside beauty & body treatments with Jenny it’s well & truely beyond a 5 star resort. Exquisite food of perfect presentation & perfectly cooked seafood al dente’ pasta & rice a foodies delight even the breakfast lobster fried rice was sensational. Their chefs I’d rate as Michelin Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gordon Ramsay you really need to sample here!

SSothydyI had the pleasure of staying at hotel during the New Year, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.
The festive decorations throughout the hotel created a warm and cheerful atmosphere that truly set the tone for the holiday season. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, offering excellent service despite how busy it was.
The New Year’s Eve celebration organized by the hotel was a highlight of our trip. The food at the gala dinner was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The live entertainment and countdown event were spectacular, making it a memorable way to ring in the New Year.
Our room was clean, spacious, and had a stunning view of the fireworks display at midnight. The thoughtful touches, like a complimentary New Year’s gift and champagne, made us feel truly welcomed.
The location of the hotel was perfect, close to local attractions but still peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway.
Overall, it exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a festive and luxurious place to celebrate the New Year. I can’t wait to return!
TThe Sean FamilyThe location of the hotel is good, accessible to other parts of the town. The hotel has a nice nature environment with a lot of big trees. The hotel is right in front of the beach with a long pathway that you can walk for nice air from the sea. One drawback of the hotel is that the facilities of the hotel are a bit old, but the hotel kind of keep the cleanliness quite good though.
MMike IgGenerally it was a pleasant experience of staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was great, breakfast was good and the room was spacious and quite cozy. There were some minor issues like quite old and worn towels, some misunderstandings with transfer to the pier, etc.
The restaurant was also pretty good, but it’s noticeably overpriced (and that’s why wasn’t popular among the hotel’s guests). It’s recommended to go to a restaurant or a bar at one of the neighbor hotels, where there is life music, fireworks, fire shows and also nice local and western food at way more affordable price.
As for the beach, it’s clean and shallow, with white sand, however it was windy most of the time we spent on the island. I’d recommend to walk for about 15-20 minutes to the opposite shore of the island (Lazy Beach - see the photo) and enjoy calm and very clean sea, with yellow sand and lovely beach restaurant/bar. Lazy Beach is totally free of charge (no sun-beds or umbrellas there however you can find enough shade under the big threes at the beach).
MM.O.T.A.S around the worldWe were unfortunate to travel during low season, which in Koh Rong means 99% rain everyday, by conversations with locals they are fully aware of this yet all bookings and activities are business as usual but cannot be enjoyed, such as snorkling, BBQ boat etc. because of the weather we were stuck in the hotel 90% of the time, there is NO TV (it does say in room amenities, I read too late) so just be aware, specially if travelling with little ones. The pool is not an option because of thunder and lighting. It costs 15USD to get to the hotel from the pier. There is no ATM on the island only one stall that lets you use your card to pay the local then they give you the money, this is charged at 8% 😡 This is important because for lack of internet connection you cant always use card to pay at restaurant for your lunches and dinner, also when you can, there is a 3% fee to do so. All activities must also be paid in USD but old rugged bills are not accepted even if they have been given to you by other traders ib the island or if the bills got a bit wet in the rain, which was a frequent problem. So come with plenty of new dollars or you'll find yourself stuck with little options. the night before check out, we asked the staff to please let the ferry company know we would be taking the 9:30am ferry to Sihakouville (as instructed by the ferry company). We booked a 9:00am return trip to the pier as recommended. However as we arrived the ferry was leaving, at 9:15. We were not the only ones left behind. Some people had a flight to catch later that day and were made to pay another 17USD per person as according to them it was ”impossible” to fit them into one of the almost-empty-boats of one of the other many ferry companies, because they dont work together, some families payed up to 70USD to not miss their flight despite it not being their fault. The hotel was standard, for a beach hotel, nice huts, the beds were clean and comfortable and the highlight was definitely the food at the restaurant, over the 4 days, we tried many dishes all of them delicious. I can imagine during sunny season it must be a beautiful location and a beautiful hotel. saying this, I already thought it was overpriced for low season compared to similar hotels in Thailand and Bali, so for me the price you would pay in high season I would not consider it, specially given the whole experience with the ferry and USDs. ☹️
RRomeryThe hotel is very well located: in front of Sokha beach, almost private beach and with large stretch of sand, as well as about 10-minute walk from the Prince shopping mall. The staff is very nice and friendly. The hotel offers free shuttle bus to market and Otres according to the timetable schedule. Western menu is also available in the hotel restaurants. But, some items should be improved: 1) Lightning: bedroom and bathroom with low lightning, especially in the shower area; 2) As a beach resort, activities and games should be offered, such as ping pong, volleyball, etc; 3) Include hot chocolate in the breakfast without extra charge.
I highly recommend the hotel and would stay again.
RR.P.T.SWhat a place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sara Resort. Spacious rooms, beautiful pool, great service, delicious food and drinks, amazing views. Thank you for making our stay on Koh Rong Samloem a comfortable and memorable one!
YYulia/It was a pleasure to stay in this resort. Highly recommend. Felt myself like at home. The stuff is very friendly and nice. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The room is clean and spacious. The resort has its own beach. But we prefered to go to another one. It took 5-7 min to get there. And in the evening we were coming back also by ourselves since the boat can pick you up at the pier only at 6 pm. Overall it was a great staying. Would love to come back again.
