Very nice hotel in the center of Skiathos. The front desk guys and all the staff members were great. Unfortunately, the negative judgment is determined by the fact that for 4 days I never had hot water in the room and, despite the complaints, the problem was never solved and I was forced to always take a cold shower. The hotel has an agreement for dinner with the Carnayo restaurant, I highly recommend going there, in my opinion one of the best in Skiathos.

The recently renovated hotel is in an excellent location to visit Skiathos and enjoy the right tranquility without having to give up the convenience of being in the city center.
The staff are attentive and helpful.
The services are excellent (swimming pool, bar, breakfast).
The rooms are spacious and well-kept, albeit with some very small flaws.
Fantastic view from the terrace where you have breakfast.
I couldn't recommend this hotel!

Absolutely fantastic hotel 5* service from the amazing staff. The rooms are beautiful and spotless the cleaning staff come in every and change everything. The pool and grounds are immaculate. It is set In a beautiful location with views over the sea from the breakfast room. The walk into Skiathos town is literally 5 minutes The food was delicious and very well presented. I absolutely recommend everything about this hotel and would come back again for sure.

I recently stayed at the Alkyon Hotel in Skiathos island and had an amazing experience! The location is perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to the town and beaches. The service was excellent throughout my stay, with the personnel being exceptionally polite and always willing to assist with any requests. The food was excellent, with rich flavours and beautifully presented. The rooms were kept to a high standard of cleanliness, which made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Skiathos!

Our second stay here. Last year in a premium room was faultless. Absolutely wonderful. This year no premium rooms available so we had to settle for a standard room. Basement level opposite a wall, no view at all, just a patch of muddy grass. The room was OK, housekeeping not so. The bath and basin were not cleaned properly throughout our stay, scummy residue not cleaned, and the toilet had a limescale residue. Clean towels every day, but bed not made every day. On the plus side the breakfasts are fabulous, cannot fault them. We are elderly and disabled and found the long treks up and down stairs exhausting. The lift does not serve the basement rooms. With regret, we will return to Skiathos, but not to this hotel.

Just back from a wonderful stay at the Alkyon ,great location with wonderful views from the hotel , the staff were so friendly and welcoming,nothing to much trouble, great choice for breakfast, lovely bar area for a catch up at the end of the day , Perfect

I was really looking forward to this holiday. I work hard all year and holidays are an important time for me to relax. The room I was given room 218 was a twin bedded room that faced a wall. It had very little natural light. The room looked tired, the chair had stains on it, the shower was rusty, the sink tap dirty, foam came up from a vent in the bathroom a few times. Sometimes I got a bath mat and towels, sometimes I didn't. The room cleaner went in my cupboard and moved some things over to the table, she either took for herself or threw away my metal reusable water bottle. I was on half board, the service for dinner was beyond awful. On half board you only get 2 choices for starter and main and the dessert is a synthetic cake. My friend has an allergy to peppers and even though we told them daily they continued to bring dishes containing peppers. There are not enough sun loungers for everyone and people put towels out before 8am and then wander down at 10.30am. Trying to find a positive..the location is good.

Rooms are clean but basic, tap in bath room didn't have hot water (I told them three times but was never fixed) looked out on a wall and could here people walking past at all hours. Not enough sun loungers. Breakfast was ok but juices weren't natural tasted more like cordial. Some staff were lovely but some terrible. The evening meal wasn't great at all. Most nights the service was shocking and they left you sitting there with dirty plates for ages. I have a food allergy and was left without a main course one night as there was only two options. It wasn't clear from what I ordered that i would have a problem. I told them earlier in the week that had an allergy but they didn't tell me what I was ordering had had it in . I wasn't offered anything else which was very disappointing as was left hungry. A couple of nights we decided to eat out as we were so disappointed with their menu and food. The location was very good and it was in walking distance to Skiathos town which is really lovely.
