Absolutely fantastic hotel 5* service from the amazing staff. The rooms are beautiful and spotless the cleaning staff come in every and change everything. The pool and grounds are immaculate. It is set In a beautiful location with views over the sea from the breakfast room. The walk into Skiathos town is literally 5 minutes The food was delicious and very well presented. I absolutely recommend everything about this hotel and would come back again for sure.

We loved the hotel when we first entered and the 2 women at the front desk were superb, so friendly, welcoming and professional. However, later when we were able to access our room we found the bathroom so dirty and disgusting. There were old splash marks all over the tile behind the sink and on the shower door from the previous occupants and there was mold in all of the crevices in the shower, sink and walls between the tiles. lt was very unsanitary and disgusting. We were so surprised and disappointed that a hotel of this caliber (4-stars) would be this way. We felt dirty staying there and wondered if even the sheets were changed/cleaned if that's how they left the bathroom. We were especially surprised since most hotels have if anything increased cleaning protocols after covid. We addressed the situation with the woman at the front desk who was very nice & professional but said she couldn't do anything and management was not available. We subsequently reached out to management (after our stay) who insisted they are "praised for their cleanliness" and would not look at photos taken of their dirty bathroom because they could not verify them. I would suggest they take a look in the filthy room. Meanwhile we also have seen several other reviews of similarly filthy rooms. Additionally, the pool area is very small with few chairs so we were not able to get a chaise lounges by the pool for the 2 of us during our stay. The manager of the dining area was incredibly rude as well. I asked the waiter if they had cappuccino available and he said yes and upon arriving back at the table put it down with a bill for it. We said we assumed it came with the breakfast as it had with every other hotel we had stayed at and said we wished he would have told us when we ordered that it wasn't part of the breakfast. He asked the dining manager to come over and he explained to him that we thought it was included. He didn't say a word and instead rudely grabbed the coffee, walked away and dumped it in the garbage in front of us. I guess better to throw it in the garbage than make a guest happy! We had high hopes for this hotel and it has such potential but left very disappointed. It's apparently very mismanaged.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is kept so clean and the staff in general could not have been more polite or helpful. The location is fantastic right near town life and so very convenient. Our room was comfortable and slept well. There was a kettle in the room which was so helpful. The cleaner l wish l knew her name was a lovely lady, we thanked her, honestly she was beyond grateful. We always leave a token of our appreciation for the housekeeping staff. It would be nice if more people did. The terrace has wonderful views of Skiathos. Breakfast was busy but there was a good choice and lots of it. The pool area was busy but we didn’r mind as we had loads of other things to do. I honestly can’t fault this hotel, is it perfect probably not but it served all our needs with great service and staff. The locals in general simply wonderful, warm and welcoming the hotel was no different.

Good size rooms with comfortable beds. reception staff are helpful and happy to assist. All staff on site are hardworking and eager to please, found the cleanliness of the hotel was at times a little lax but overall would come back and visit this hotel again. We did not take the half board option, but we tried the restaurant attached to the hotel, we were happy to be on the bed and breakfast option. Location is excellent.

I had a wonderful week in Skiathos with my mum and daughter. Alkyon hotel was lovely, the room for the three of us was spacious enough without feeling like we were crammed in. The bathroom was great, we had a balcony overlooking the port which was beautiful. We were welcomed by the most wonderful Elsa with a little drink to get our holiday started. Elsa is an absolute credit to the hotel, so friendly and great to chat to. The food choices were good, however the first night the restaurant outside opened was a bit of a disaster and we waited 2 hours for our mains to arrive. We were only told the next day that there had been a problem with one of the ovens but no explanation at the time. Other than that, a very pleasant stay.
