Ziva Suites - A Boutique Hotel

Great little gem of a hotel in North Goa. We hired a car so it was easy to get about. Received a lovely welcome with a refreshing drink. The terrace rooms were very spacious with a wra****und balcony. Nice bathroom with a truly powerful shower. Nice buffet breakfast with freshly made dosa, eggs and other local dishes. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed the food and service.

The pictures on their website are incredibly deceptive and do not reflect the actual conditions of the hotel. Firstly, the room I was assigned to was outdated and in dire need of renovation. The furniture was old, the bed was uncomfortable, and the overall cleanliness was questionable at best. It felt more like a budget motel room than a boutique hotel. Secondly, the amenities were severely lacking. The so-called "boutique" experience promised on their website was nowhere to be found. There was no special services that you would expect from a boutique hotel. It felt more like a budget motel. Additionally, the staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. They seemed disinterested in providing any assistance or making the stay enjoyable. Overall, Ziva Suites does not live up to its claim of being a boutique hotel. It barely meets the standards of a 2-star hotel, and the pictures on their website are a misleading representation of what you'll actually experience. I would not recommend staying here."

We spent 2 nights at this property in North Goa, Siolim from 6th to 8th July . Right from the time we entered the property we felt an aura of conten**ent and this resort had a feel good factor. The rooms are tastefully made up and have a lounging area and a sit out (for the balcony based rooms) and large bedrooms. The staff are extremely courteous, well trained and have a buoyant nature. Food choices are good with a well stocked bar. The breakfast spread is also very nice with a choice of continental and Indian food. There is also a live counter for customized choices. The hash browns and the pasta salads were excellent. The swimming pool is also well maintained. There is a wooded area behind the property. Overall I would say this is an awesome stay option for people looking to stay in calm surroundings away from the madding party crowds of Calangute / Candolim and their likes We also had a chance meeting with the owner who was very friendly. Highly recommended for mid budget travellers.

Can we just call it a home away from home? The helpful and cordial staff, the clean and spacious rooms, the lush green surroundings and also next to a clean beach in goa (vagator). The morning buffet though limited, is just delicious. The in-house pool is fully functional and clean. Though this hotel doesn't have a beach view, one wouldn't miss one. Give it a try.

Wow, THE place to stay when in Goa The place is superb, The service is excellent, super quick. The food at the restaurant is finger-licking. It was an amazing stay and it couldn't have been better. Grande Suite: the room has a balcony on all 3 sides, and that to a joined balcony on all 3 sides of the room. They have cloth hanging stands for hanging your wet clothes, and the water pressure in the washrooms is excellent. They have thought of everything while designing the room and the suite. There was no flaw in the design, there was no flaw in anything. Truly happy to have stayed here with my 4-year-old daughter and 4-month daughter of my friends as well.

Great place to stay. The staff are really helpful with answering all your questions. Sometimes it’s difficult to direct taxis to the hotel and I recommend keeping a screenshot of the map handy

Rooms have no view, maintenance is good, rooms are clean. Swimming pool is small. Adjoining toilet with the swimming pool was terrible. No soap, not cleaned from atleast 1 month. Hospitality was ok ok. Book only if you dont find any other property in this area. Hotel stay should be a Wow experience which cannot be said for ziva suites. We booked the room after seeing the photos but the experience was underwhelming.

Stayed here on a recommendation from a friend nice cozy property good rooms wrap around balconies to all sides of the rooms warm staff very closely monitored property by the founders non of the staff seemed to grads from a hospitality college but still ***aged it fantastically.

Service is ok.. However we were not happy with room. Basic toiletries were not provided. They just told us that it will be provided only for premium rooms. I was furious to understand this logic. Even handwash was not provided. I told to receptionist I am unhappy with room they told us that you have to pay extra 2k for room upgrade. My experience was poor for non premium rooms.
