We found it overpriced for what you get and definitely not a 4 star hotel. In our opinions it is more like a b & b. Extremely steep staircases. Stayed in room with balcony on the first floor. Quite clean, but the photos on the website are much enhanced and did not properly reflect our room. We therefore feel we cannot recommend this 'hotel' which we notice has now been downgraded to 3 and a half stars.

Two weeks ago we finished a delightful 6 night stay at Hotel Ca’n Abril. Everything was excellent! In particular, we appreciated the generous and attentive service provided by the managers Angel and Nikol. Both were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They gladly accommodated our vegetarian preferences and the breakfast we were served each morning was exceptional. The room we stayed in was immaculate and couldn’t have been nicer. We would gladly return to the hotel on a future visit to Sóller
Response from Property: We are thrilled that you found our hotel to meet your expectations and we hope to welcome you back again very soon. We will be here to ensure that your next visit is even more memorable. Thank you once again for choosing our hotel and for sharing your experience with fellow travelers. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you again. Have a wonderful day! Warm regards,It was a pleasure to have you with us, and we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time here.

We had a wonderful experience in the lovely town of Soller and part of that was due to the lovely Ca'n Abril hotel we stayed. Laurent and his staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We had one of the larger rooms in fact three rooms, bedroom, lounge with Netflix TV and bathroom, all decorated to the highest qulity. The bed was a very comfortable King sized and had quality linen sheets. We stayed between Christmas and New Year and was pleasantly supprised how lively the town was making it a lovely time of year to visit without the husstle of mass tourists. If hiring a car get the smallest that works for you as the streets around Soller are very narrow. Parking is a little walk from the hotel but didn't prove to be a problem. We will return. Thank you

What a lovely hotel. The staff made everything so easy and were very mindful of our needs. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and spacious. All the little touches made the difference. We were very comfortable. The owner was very warm and welcoming. He also gave us directions on hikes. Highly recommended. If I had one tiny request it would be to have the nicer bathroom toiletries. I wasn’t keen on shower gel/shampoo.

C’an Abril is a beautifully appointed boutique hotel near to the centre of Sóller. It is a family run hotel and Laurent is front of house. He was welcoming and always willing to cater to our needs. The room was very comfortable with high quality fixtures. We had a wonderful roof terrace with fantastic views over the city to the tramuntana mountains. There was a beach bag with towels for excursions up to Port de Sóller. We really enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved Sóller. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel where you are given the best care by the owners throughout your stay. Laurent was fantastic at helping us with our stay and making sure we had everything we needed. Including making sure our room suited my husband with mobility issues. A service you don’t get in larger hotels. Thanks to Ca’n abril for a wonderful stay.

Loved the room with terrace. Comfortable, clean, and well located for our stay. Breakfast was great and so was the assistance we got from Nicole.

Perfect location to explore Sóller and the surrounding area. Ca'n Abril is run by Laurent, the charming and efficient owner, who will make sure that all your needs are catered for. He will make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and will gladly help you with suggestions about where to eat or what to visit. The hotel itself is impeccable, with spacious and spotless rooms. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

A lovely small boutique hotel in the heart of the pretty town of Sóller. Laurent was a great host, the hotel is nicely appointed and the courtyard where the delicious breakfast was served is a haven of tranquility, lovely wafts of jasmine and other colourful flowers, and is nicely shaded too. It’s literally a 2 minute stroll to the main square in the town and it’s bustling shops and restaurants. Thank you 🙏🏼 Ben and April

Ca'n Abril is a fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Soller. I stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed every day. Each of the rooms is unique and offers it's own charm. My room had access to a private rooftop balcony with spectacular 360 degree views. The housekeeping was perfect, and the daily breakfast was excellent. The owner and full-time manager are onsite daily and catered to each patron. Easy access to Port Soller, hiking and many activities along the west coast of Mallorca. I offer a very high recommendation.

We stayed in Ca’n Abril for 3 nights and had the most relaxing time. We had the room with the terrace and it was beautiful and cozy. The terrace has views over looking Soller and the mountains and we watched the sunrise on a few occasions. The hotel is in a brilliant location - only a 2 minute walk to the main square. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was also lovely. I would definitely stay here again if I was ever back in Soller. Thank you.

There were a number of issues with my stay and the standards at the hotel were far below those of other 4 star hotels. I only had to stay 2 nights, so didn't spoil the holiday. 1. No electricity and then no water on the morning of the 15 September. I was given less than 24 hour notice that there would be no electricity at the property between 7-10am, which was highly inconvenient and meant I had to change my plans for that morning because I couldn't wash or have a shower. Whilst this was an issue on the street, the management didn't offer any water, any alternatives but did remind me that the check-out time was 11am! After the power cut, there was no water, which I wasn't informed about! I don't know Spanish law, but it would be illegal for a UK business to not have electricity or running water. 2. No breakfast available at the property This is a minor issue but I was very surprised that you had to go to a bakery in the middle of town on certain days of the week. Again, this falls below the standard that should be offered at a 4 star hotel. There's also a very sterile atmosphere in the place - very little is made of the patio in the evening and there were no lights on the balcony. There were also some strange, little notices like telling you not to soil the towels, as they are 'superior' quality and you are liable to be charged for them! There are much better places in Solar for the price and I would choose them before this place. It's an average B&B and not a 4 star hotel - it's really not worth the money

Plus points. Great location and nice traditional hotel. Nice room with balcony. Great breakfast. We paid a fair amount extra for room 5 with private terrace. Not so good. Umbrella broken and external light not working. To be fair a replacement umbrella brought to us and apologies it was extremely dirty with bird droppings. Next day it had been cleaned. Lauren suggested we could use the lighting from the communal areas to light up our balcony at night to prevent us from sitting in the dark. This also failed to work? On our final morning Lauren did apologise for the small troubles we had experienced but didn’t ask if we had managed to use the different lights as if had we would have said that also didn’t work. We weren’t even asked if we had enjoyed our stay. Such a shame as our experience seems to have been different to that of others,

Owner did not make us feel welcome and surprised us with unexpected fees. Parking is NOT on site (more like >7 blocks away) and when we tried using the parking, there was a party in the street, so we had to look for street parking anyway. The location is in a very tiny street, so you can barely stop to drop off luggage since whenever you park to load / unload, you’d block incoming traffic. When we were leaving, the host / owner just stared at us without helping, even though I was blocking incoming traffic and my wife was carrying heavy luggage.
