Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dover

This property was a disappointment as I stayed at other properties locally. The price is right for a quick overnight no frills stay. The property is branded but doesn't have the professionalism you would see from a Hilton or Marriott property. Wyndham standards for franchisees have truly fallen. Upon check in. The front desk agent, possibly hotelier treated the process as if he was a doorman to an exclusive club. His demeanor was very friendly but more party like. He explained that because I booked via *******. He needed a $150 deposit. But if I didn't book third party then s deposit wasn't needed. I agreed to this umforeseen circumstance. He then went into a special on how once we check out. The hotel releases the deposit but banks take up to 10 days to release. He continued on how people left bad reviews and personally came to the property to get thier money back. Upon arriving to the room. Everything looked exceptional for the price. The room was outdated and reminded me of pre 2010 Marriott. Everything looked clean until we went into the bathroom. The har dryer area was covered in cut facial hair while the shower was filled with the previous guest hair. Yuck The following morning we woke to the sound of a man talking !loudly in the hallway 7:15 am Sunday. He was looking out the window at the end of the hallway waving to someone below yelling. Well at least there was free breakfast which in these instances I call " breadfast". Essentially muffin, bagel. Toast.

Reasonable price for room and Starbucks next door if do not like the continental breakfast blend coffee.

Good value. The suite we stayed in provided ample space, was clean, and had a comfortable bed. Limited hotel facilities but I knew that going in. It was the perfect landing spot for an out-of-state family looking for a short visit while we visited our son, who is attending UNH.

The person working the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room is lovely and so comfortable. It’s quite sizable. I recommend this hotel 100%

******* is whatever to me, I've never been impressed with this customer service baseless company and long turn around times but I will tell you the hotel I stayed at was amazing for 2-star, poorly underrated, staff was great, just great great great!!

The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and it was convenient to everything we needed

Very basic. I guess I expected a little something "more"... there was not even a small fridge in the room I cannot remember the last time I stayed anywhere that did not have a small fridge. No coffee maker or microwave, either, but those were easily available anytime in the lobby. It just did not feel very "inviting".... not anywhere I'd want to hang out for any length of time. Strictly utilitarian.Evening desk clerk was not very friendly...

Beds were comfortable, but everything else is in need of an update. Worn carpets, cracks in the sink, no table lamps, not much of a continental breakfast.

Best price in the area and still safe, clean with good coffee.
