Listing photos are similar as actual but lightings are orange-ish and made the room quite dark and a bit off. Overall, reasonably priced in the city and a quick one no fuss 1 night stay.

The hotel is located in Southbank, close to the Cultural Centre, with convenient access to the city center. The rooms are spacious, but occasionally there are flies. The front desk staff are enthusiastic, but I'd recommend using cash for the deposit.

The Capitol Apartments' reception hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on weekdays. We arrived after 5:00 pm for check-in, but thankfully, we were able to get in touch with the staff by phone. Even though they had already left for the day, they patiently guided us through the check-in process, and their attitude was excellent. The room was clean and well-maintained. The washing machine, dryer, and drying rack essentially solved all our laundry needs. The kitchen was equipped with a stove, cookware, and tableware, making it very suitable for families. The view from the extra-large balcony was also delightful.

A nice spacious apartment to stay in for a nice weekend in the Brisbane city. Very close to all the local attractions and sporting venues in the Gabba and Suncorp Stadium. Some good bars and restaurants along Southbank strip as well. Only downside is that you cannot leave your bag for luggage storage.

Room was so tiny, room was musty and aircon made a terrible noise when in use but too hot not to use it. Location and service was great. Not sure I’d stay here again though….

Great location close to everything you need while in Brisbane. Walking distance to Southbank, Queen St Mall and Suncorp Stadium. Will definitely stay again!
