Wenn man zum 2. Mal in ein Hotel kommt, in dem beim 1. Besuch alles perfekt war, liegt die Latte ja sehr hoch. Das Team im Adelshof hat es geschafft, unsere hohen Erwartungen wieder mehr als zu erfüllen. Wir hatten diesmal die Margarete-Steiff-Juniorsuite im Rahmen des Arrangements „Best of fine dining“ gebucht. Das Zimmer ist riesig, mit Dusche und Badewanne, gemütlicher Sitzecke und sehr stilvoll in gelb eingerichtet – das Thema „Steiff-Teddybären“ findet sich überall, wirkt aber nicht kitschig. Am ersten Abend haben wir das „Y“-Menü in 5 Gängen samt Weinbegleitung genossen – es war einfach großartig, sowohl fürs Auge als auch für den Gaumen eine Wucht. Zum Einstieg gab es ein handgeschöpftes, noch warmes Dinkellaible mit Estragonbutter – außen knusprig, innen fluffig – da muss man wirklich aufpassen, dass man sich nicht dran satt isst, so lecker ist es. Jeder Gang des fleischlosen Menüs war einzigartig, sehr kreativ ausgedacht und wundervoll angerichtet. Wenn man hier alle fünf Gänge einzeln beschreiben würde, würde das in einem Roman enden – und man muss es einfach selbst erlebt habt, man kann den Hochgenuss wirklich nur sehr schwer beschreiben. Man vermisst keine Sekunde Fleisch sondern ist eher überrascht, was man aus Gemüse „zaubern“ kann! Am zweiten Abend ging es bei uns mit dem Romantik-Menü eher „klassisch“ zu, auch hier jeder einzelne Gang ein Highlight. Die Weinbegleitung war zu beiden Menüs optimal, jeder Wein wurde ausführlich erklärt und passte genau. Der Service vom Ratskeller-Team war perfekt – man merkt, dass sowohl Daniela (mit ihrem ganz besonderen Strahlen) als auch Herr Bader ihre Jobs lieben. Auch bei den beiden Damen an der Rezeption spürt man, dass es eine Freude ist, dort zu arbeiten – immer lächelnd, man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen – wem auf dem Buffet oder der Etagere etwas fehlt, kann sich Eierspeisen und andere Köstlichkeiten zusätzlich bestellen. Wir haben beide über 20 Jahre in der Hotellerie gearbeitet und wissen, wie schwer es sein kann, Gäste zu begeistern – im Adelshof und im Ratskeller ergänzen sich die „hardware“ (das tolle Ambiente) und die „software“ (erstklassige Mitarbeiter mit Leidenschaft) harmonisch zu einem wahren Dreamteam! Insgesamt ein Businesshotel in einem Gewerbegebiet. Zweckmäßig mit wenig Charme. Da wir bei der Buchung relativ spät waren, konnten wir nur noch „Smart Maxi für mehr Zeit-Zimmer“ buchen. Studios mit kleiner Küche etc. Wie wir erst am zweiten Abend erfuhren, werden diese Zimmer zwischenzeitlich nicht gemacht. Kein Hinweis auf der Homepage, beim einchecken oder auf dem Zimmer. Lediglich die normalen Zimmer würden gemacht. Das geht gar nicht. Frühstück ist einfach. Alles selber holen und den Tisch selbst abräumen. Mitunter fährt ein Serviceroboter zum abstellen von Geschirr rum. Für eine dienstlichen Besuch in dem Gebiet OK.
