I like all the staff there. Wonder how they keep all the staffs cheerful and smiling every day.Good job Marriot on your staffs. Mangers to Cleaner all carry good energy and beautiful smile. Staff got out of the ay to serve guests.Amazing. I stayed there for 4 days.Second time staying in Marriot.Will continue looking for Marriot ,any where I travel for work.I just felt the membership lounge should be open to all members regardless new or old member.Thank you.

Good and satisfied stay. What can I say more are impressive lobby greeting the guests on entry, efficient and fast check-in and check-out even the manager loyalty came to approach me ask how my stay experience (thank you Mr. Ismael), nice executive lounge with superb staff service (thanks to Mr. Bagus, if I remember his name), in room the noise insulation from outside very effective, comfy bed and pillows, good hotel design, the room and the facilities. I have spent decades travelling for work and the Majapahit is now my favourite hotel on earth. It is like staying in the pages of a history book. My beautiful king suite room opened onto the swimming pool and my only regret is not having more time to stay there. Everything about this hotel is classy, from the fantastically friendly general manager, through the fabulously helpful and kind staff, to the facilities such as the great restaurant (breakfast is never to be missed!), rocking pub and beautiful swimming pool area. The hotel is also in a very good downtown location and near the big shopping malls if that is your thing. To travel to Surabaya and not stay in the Majapahit, would not only be a missed opportunity, it would be a crime against future memories. I cannot wait to get back there.

Acceptable standard as a HIExpress. Room is average size, bathroom a little small and towels looking a little tired. Got a lousy view though, looking out to a roof with ladder for workers to climb to the water tank. Had to draw the curtain most of the time. Breakfast was better than the usual grab-and-go, which they also provide beside the buffet spread. Customer service from the staff was good. All very polite. Laundry facilities was pay per use. Some meeting rooms available. Easy to call ride hailing.

This was my second time staying in Ibis Tidar Surabaya. This time I stayed with my colleague for almost a week. Room could adequately accommodating for 2 person. Bathroom quite spacious for Ibis family. I love their bathroom, it was unlike other Ibis that I have stayed, that it feels you're taking a shower in a capsule. The flat TV was super big! Inside the room you will get a mini fridge to keep your beverages chilled. You will have a safe deposit box to keep your valuable things. The aircon is clean and cold, the hot water also nice. One of the best element of this hotel is ... their breakfast! Super love! Variety was okay but do not under estimate the taste! Best breakfast ever for Ibis Family! They change menu day by day and never failed me. I love to sip their hot tea in the morning by the window with the sunlight. Location wise is perfect if you need to stroll around Tunjungan Plaza area. It is easy as well to find meal outside the hotel. Just take a 5 mins walk and you will find a street full of food! Since the lobby drop off is quite small, tell you cab driver to drop you by the street, you could easily walk though the left pedestrian provided by the hotel ;)

I really did enjoy my stay at this hotel for 4 nights. The only negative is all the mosquitos getting in lobby and room somehow. The pool needed to get swept more the stuff on the top. But it was still really refreshing to jump into every day. The staff are friendly with alittle English. I had a dinner at restaurant which was delicious just abit pricy compared to street food. I reccomend, just bring insect repellent. Price I got was pretty cheap for the big sized room.
