The hotel is clean and comfortable. The walk to the hotel is not too far from other amenities and local attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. However there is a small issue I have with the room I stayed cos it does not have a full length mirror, and the mirror looks a little distorted. Otherwise all is good and well.

Hotel is beautiful & fairly new. However, cleanliness can be improved because when I first checked in, there were hair strands around the sink.. Booked the suite but nothing fancy, just more spacious. Location wasn’t the best but understandable as located in 平江路 historical area. Nearest pick up/drop off location was at the tourist centre down the street along the main road. The streets weren’t smooth, lugging our luggages was a nightmare. Concierge offered to bring a trolley over for our luggages but the trolley was so small and could barely hold all our staff. The trolley could probably only fit a cabin sized luggage hahaha. Had to lug our luggages ourselves for a good 200+ metres. But convenient location, will book again if I don’t have a huge luggage with me.

Well located in populated area. Small issue: Had to drag our luggage across a road as the car could not enter the accommodation area. However, staff was helpful during checkout, helped us to drag the luggage to the main road.

After booking the hotel on Ctrip, the staff will contact us to confirm the check-in time, send the location and the taxi drop-off point. Because it is not convenient to take a taxi directly inside Pingjiang Road, the hotel staff (an uncle) pulled a camper to pick us up, and it took only three to five minutes to walk. We were received by Xiao Zhang and Douzi, who prepared hot water in advance and were very careful, patient and polite. The temperature suddenly dropped at night, and they took the initiative to provide a heater. Thank you very much! If you order takeout, the hotel staff will deliver it upstairs. Because of the cold medicine ordered, the uncle also brought four bottles of hot water up. There was a strange noise in the room. Xiao Zhang immediately went upstairs to help solve the problem. When leaving, Douzi also helped to transport the luggage to the taxi point. The perfect journey came to an end. I will book this hotel next time. It is quiet and comfortable.

However, there is room for further improvement in the hotel's facilities, such as the shower 🚿, which will be hot and cold.

I collected many hotels and B&Bs, read many reviews, and finally chose this one. Because for the elderly, Shantang Street may be too lively at night, and Jinji Lake does not feel too much classical style. Another thing is that there are many old buildings and furnishings in the B&B, without elevators, and the hardware may be slightly inferior... In short, I chose Manxin in Pingjiang Courtyard with a nervous mood, and I was not disappointed. The day before check-in, I called to explain that there may be noise during the day due to renovations (actually within an acceptable range), and then added WeChat to send the address and give taxi suggestions. When I arrived at the parking lot of the hotel, I saw the smiling baggage boy who helped me pull the luggage. It happened to be him when I left the store. He helped us send it out before we finished the meal. I wanted to give a tip, but I didn’t have any cash. The water volume is large and the water pressure is sufficient. There is no mold spot in the corners of the bathroom and shower room. For this reason, I decided to try a few more hotels under Huazhu Club next time. Another reason for recommendation is that the hotel is located on Pingjiang Road (but once you enter the room, you will be isolated from the outside noise), very close to the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove, and Suzhou Museum, and my mother can walk there. There are Xie Dongjia and Songhe Tower downstairs, as well as the Pingtan Hall, and it is only across the river from the Pipa Language Pingjiang Road store.

I had time to relax in Suzhou for two days and booked this hotel in the northern section of Pingjiang Road. The biggest highlight is the excellent location. Whether you want to visit Pingjiang Road, eat, listen to Pingtan, or go to the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove, and Suzhou Museum, it's only a few minutes' walk away. The price is also very cost-effective. The waiter is quite enthusiastic and will add WeChat in advance to inform you of the precautions. If I want to give some suggestions, it is that there is a mirror facing the bed in the room, which is a bit creepy, especially if you get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There are bugs on the sink, hair on the sofa, and there is not hand soap on the sink but a bottle of shampoo. I am a little confused. The bathroom and shower room are also very small, and the soundproofing is super poor. You can hear any sound. In short, I will never stay here again.
