Hotels near Taidong Guanguang Night Market, Taitung

It was very good. I was worried because there were many complaints in the reviews, but it was very clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. The location was convenient and it was a very satisfying stay.

The location, free parking, and the service of providing bicycles are great! However, the overall accommodation space has a sense of age, and the breakfast is also very ordinary. The important point is that the breakfast chairs and tables are too difficult to sit on, and they will get stuck (height is 172cm).

Hotel is new & tastefully furbished. Love the basement Common lounge where guests can come together to eat, drink, read, watch movies or just relax. Room is also very comfortable, except lights are a little dim and there is no TV. Understand it's an intentional move by hotel management not to provide TV in room as they want guests to enjoy Taitung to the fullest & not stay in the room to watch TV. So need to get used to this if you want to stay here :)

Great location, near bus terminal, night market and eatries. Very helpful reception staff. Comfortable bed and clean room.

I came to Taitung alone and stayed in a youth hostel for the first time. The environment was good and it was very close to Tiehua Village. I originally wanted to book a different room while riding back to the train station from Tiehua Village, but I didn’t know that there was no room available if I didn’t book in advance. I called It’s fate that we will come back here again🤣! Also made friends.

The room for 4 people is clean and simple in style. It is spacious and has a lot of space for a mahjong table and a 3-seater sofa. The bathroom has a bathtub for taking a bath. You can also park a motorcycle on the first floor. You don’t have to worry about taking a shower. It is highly recommended. .

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful, the pool and view is amazing. Only topic to improve is to let the people eat and drink at the pool bar to enjoy the views as this bar isn’t open and nothing served.

I had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel. There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant. Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another. In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.

This is my first time to Taitung. Between Hotel Royal Chihpin and Z hotel, I chose Z Hotel due to its strategic location in city centre and close proximity to many eateries, Taitung forest park & Haibin park. To make sure that I get to enjoy the high quality onsen, I took a cab which cost me TWD500 to HRC. The breakfast served at Z Hotel was my favourite among all the hotels which serve buffet breakfast. Oh, did I mention that I got auto upgrade to a spacious, deluxe triple room ? The bed is very comfortable and room is squeakily clean. Though it is facing the main road, I didn’t hear any traffic noise at all !

Had a super good deal (price for the room) on trip.com. Would recommend this hotel for sure to everyone who visit Taitung. Great location (city center). Love the design of the hotel. Nice relaxing space, big shared kitchen, green and open. There is a laundry area (to be paid for the wash machine and dryer). The staff is very friendly. Specially the girl at the reception when I checked out, could change my non-used voucher for a souvenir from the hotel (bag). The best hotel (price and quality) during my 9 days trip through Taiwan (Taipei, Hualien, Taitung, Kaohsiung, Tainan).
