I recommend this place 100% it’s walking distance to everything the rooms are really nice the breakfast is so good !! Friendly workers i wouldn’t suggest another other place in tamarindo

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, and the breakfast was perfect. It's close to several restaurants, bars, cafes, and a grocery store. The beach and the main strip in Tamarindo are about a 10-15 min walk but we liked this as it kept it very quiet in the room. We stayed for 5 days without a car and did not feel we needed one. Felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, which was a nice surprise. Definitely recommend

Room was infested with black ants Our room was infested with black ants that were coming thru the space between the glass and wall. Tried to get another hotel that night but all was booked elsewhere. The room was dated. Best part of the stay was the breakfast. Sorry, we won’t be back.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Couldn’t have picked a better spot literally five minute walk away from the main downtown area, yet so relaxing and quiet. We’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

The name is fitting...charming! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Ramona. The hotel is tucked away in a neighborhood away from the main strip, which is what we wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful. The communal kitchen had everything we needed, including a made-to-order breakfast every morning. Our room had an outside bathtub and shower on a private patio. It was very quaint and romantic. We enjoyed our stay and would go back. Thank you!

We had a great stay at La Ramona. It’s was as described in the property description. The owners and staff were all very kind and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately they had construction going on while we were there in November which lead to early morning wake ups due to the noise.

Staying at la Romana Charming was an excellent choice, great location, the staffs were great,the service was excellent ( it was my sister’s bday they left a cake with candle for her) I had a very good breakfast , very personalized to your taste The room was nice. The pool was a treat ,warm and clean.I will definitely highly recommend this hotel .
