Hotel LIVVO Costa Taurito & Aquapark

Location is good . Amosphere is changeable every night because it is outside entertainment it’s only on for 2 hours max. Rooms very comfortable but a new bath needed very outdated bath not very clean . With this hotel cleanliness is excellent clean towels every day , Noise level at night is very good as as the all inclusive drinks finish at 11 pm Food very repetitive a lot of pasta . I enjoyed the chilli con carne. As for value for money you get what you pay for .

Just been to LIVVO Costa Taurito and waterpark hotel for a week with my sister (two adults going all inclusive) and here is my review:- Good points • Lovely location – short walk to waterpark and small beach • Lovely big room • Fridge in room with two small bottles of water on arrival • Comfy beds • Powerful shower • Lovely pool and lots of sunbeds • Staff friendly, especially the reception staff, bar staff and waiters • Brilliant bus service near hotel and a great and cheap way to see the island. We went to Puerto Rico (cost €1.40pp). Then went to Mogán via Ferry from Puerto Rico (cost €14 return pp). Also went to Dunes at Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés beach – food outside the hotel was good, tasty and a good price. We also went to Playa de Amadores beach. Issues/concerns/not so nice points • Hotel tired and outdated • Had booked cleaners on arrival – booked them to clean room – Monday, Wednesday and Friday – they came Sunday and Tuesday! • Tight with towels and toilet paper • No coffee/tea facilities in room • No food or drink allowed out of canteen • All inclusive food – was tasteless, Poor quality (eg UPF sliced bread and hard rolls), limited choice, repetitive, often ate elsewhere • We arrived around 2200 on Saturday and when asked for late dinner – was given a brown paper bag with a white UPF sandwich with cheese and ham, a few rich tea biscuits and an apple. • ALL inclusive – not available on day you leave • WATERPARK – not available on day you leave - your all inclusive service is NOT AVAILABLE in the waterpark • Waterpark – tired and dated and very tame, only really suitable for the very young, no lazy river – just seawater pool and some slides and some toddler/small children areas like a pirate ship • Pool at the hotel was supposed to have a life guard in attendance from 10am to 6pm – but often the one lifeguard arrived late and left early, although there was babies and children in the pools, the lifeguard could not be seen anywhere near the pools, instead was often found at the back of the bar area. When he was in his seat, he had his phone resting on his leg and was seen scrolling this rather than doing his job. He also looked very young and very bored. • Entertainment – it stated Frequent daytime entertainment (available between 1st Jan and 31st Dec) including racket sports, small team games, team sports, family and water- based activities. In reality one animation person was first seen on Thursday (we were there from Saturday to Saturday) – when he turn up with two table tennis bats and walked around and around the pool area until a couple put him out of his misery, by offering to play a game. He was seen watching the couple play table tennis and then he played the winner and then he disappeared until the next day, when he was seen holding the dart board and then walking around with three darts. • It was stated that there was frequent evening entertainment (available from 1st Jan to 31st Dec), including in house entertainment

I never write reviews but after worrying about reading other reviews before I travelled I felt the need to & I’m currently here now. The hotel ticks all the boxes, it’s the smaller hotel in the complex but that’s perfect as it means less people. The whole complex is great, I can’t understand what people are moaning about. The water park is included, the beach is pleasant & both a short nice walk away. The shops have everything you need. The staff are friendly, the hotel is constantly cleaned. The food is absolutely fine, it’s good all Inclusive food- fish, meat, rice, potatoes, salad bar etc breakfast is great it’s the usual European all inclusive.I paid for a cheap get away and got far more value than what I paid for. The reviews do this hotel no justice - if reading reviews Do not worry it literally ticks all the boxes for a fun filled sun get away. I’ve stayed in 5 star resorts but paid 5 star money. This hotel gives you far more stars for the price you pay. People who are leaving bad reviews clearly don’t travel much or are deluded! Fab clean hotel, food all good…complex with slides & beach is perfect, spa area lovely and you can use it again a short stroll away. Book this little gem it superseded our expectations. A jet 2 holiday cheap & blooming cheerful! Enjoy

Not what i was expecting.First the bad bits. 😕. The hotel is dated and needs money spending on it .It's definitely not 4 star as advertised. The rooms are dated and look tired .The food was cold mostly and not much of a choice . The pool area is in need of maintenance with loose pool ladders and sunken and raised drains. The lift down to the area which leads you to the area of outside arena wasn't working for 3 day's then repaired and broke again after a day . Now the good bits. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean no problem there. And just 1 more thing I am not blaming the chef's in the kitchen for the choice food they can only work with the tools they are given that is down to management but they are responsible for putting the food out piping hot not like warm .

The hotel is located in a small town, that consists of mostly hotels. The hotel itself is great with friendly helpful staff and nice food. The nearby water park is fun and has sea water instead of chlorine water. The only problems I had on my entire holiday were caused by TUI the tour operators, my booking was messed up, but the staff in the hotel helped out and made sure I still got a room and was able to have a holiday

Just returned from a weeks stay February 26th to march 5th. Good point(s) very quiet and relaxing which we were looking for ,good size and clean rooms . Bad points , food poor with little choice ate more out than we did in ,pool area first point is we were given hot dogs that were still frozen in the middle ,made myself and partner ill for 2 days when returned the bar person shrugged her shoulders and that was that,my second complaint was the lifeguard who spent more time chatting up bar staff than he did watching the pool area there were children in the pool which he totally ignored , surely this is a safety issue . My third and last complaint is the reception staff . When we put a complaint in about the hot dogs we were just ignored and no support offered whatsoever in fact they were just plain rude , would I return there ,most definitely not , if I had a young family would I take them ? Most definitely not.

Looks nice, clean. Room needed tlc but was big and clean. Groundfloor with a terrace. Saw some sun part of the day. But also kept the room a bit cooler. Good blackout curtains. Not huge pool area but always got sunbeds when wanted. A lifeguard on site, not really did anything but sat on a chair. Small bar for the allinc, not a 4star snacks, but made to order..this made you wait for your snack - a hotdog, a burger, fries.. all condiments self serve. Ice cream is tiny store bought cup.. at least saw some kids eat this. Restaurant or perhaps more like a school canteen.. noisy but not huge. Waiters cleaning tables fast and loudly. Outside area nice but birds flying on to the tables and ground. Food basic but almost all edible. Some fish was not cooked well. Always some meat and fish grilled to order. Ice cream for dessert as much you can eat. Some cakes and fruit and cheeses. Near a bus stop where you get a bus to puerto rico and playa del ingles. The beach is also near - wasn't the best.. sadly but ok. Big waves every day, black sand. The waters edge has a huge drop with the sand gone with the waves. Some shops with mainly one convience store - big prices. Taurito is nice, pretty little place. Feels safe and stuff for kids to do. Waterpark in the middle of taurito.

It is not a 4 star hotel, I would say it’s a 2 star. Plus points: - it’s small and quiet - cleaners did a great job - waterpark is included - reception staff polite and helpful Negative points: - the pool is tiny, for kids it is no fun - it’s only access to the waterpark that’s included. You have to pay for food and drinks. Umbrellas are 4 euros per day. - some of the bar staff are rude. We were refused ice in the kids drinks but not in adults?!? - entertainment is in the plaza, shared with 2 other hotels, it’s cringeworthy - food is limited, repeated and at times not nice - beach is tiny - you cannot go anywhere outside of the plaza unless you hire a car or get a taxi - we’ve done all inclusive a lot, and this is the most limited and worse one we’ve been too
