I had to get away for a few days to relax from the family drama. It’s one of the best hotel out when it comes to following the health guidelines for covid. It’s very comfortable and close to all the restaurants with a dollar store and gas station close by for your convenience.

I Was On The Complimentary Computer & An African American Male Restaurant Employee Approached Me With ”I Know Who You Are & I Saw You When You Entered The Hotel.” He Then Informed Me That The Complimentary Computer Is For Hotel Guests Only WITHOUT EVEN Asking Me If I Had A Hotel Reservation Or If I Was A Hotel Guest!! I Communicated With Jennifer-”Front Desk” That Was Friendly & Professional That Made Me Feel Special As A ”Marriott Hotel Guest”. I Feel Based On My Gender & Race That Was The Reason Why I Was Approached Unprofessional That Made Me Feel Unwelcomed As A ”Marriott Hotel Guest”! I Had A Moment Where I Wanted To CRY! I Am Thankful For Jennifer-”Front Desk” That Was Friendly & Professional To Me As A ”Hotel Guest”. My Hotel Room Was Very Spacious, Clean & Comfortable Which I Expect At ”Marriott Hotel”. The staff has exceptional customer service from the front desk to hospitality! The wine and cheese from 5 - 7 were great to ”wind down” for the day and the cookies and milk from 8 - 9 were so tasty for an evening treat or bedtime snack. My room was LARGE with two levels - queen size bed, a large sofa, a side chair, and a faux fireplace with a space heater to imitate the real deal. The space heater did heat up the room because it was quite chilly. The only complaint I have is that my microwave did not work and it was pretty cold in the rooms but the staff was more than willing to accommodate my needs. The floors creek a lot when people are walking or just settling for the evening. Those little inconveniences will be there with the age of this building but it also speaks to its history...thus the story of Sally the Ghost. I was not afraid of that after reading about her story on my first night there.

The SprinHill Suites at Hanes Mall is a great Suite Hotel. The rooms were somewhat small to be a suite, but it was perfect for me and my travels. They were clean, and staff were being mindful of COVID and the sanitation required. They were extremely helpful and ensured they were taking care of guests. The breakfast was great, 2 different types of waffles. Amazing muffins, sausage or bacon and eggs, plus all your other breakfast items. I enjoyed the fact that they had a large variety of hot teas to choose from, not just coffee. The location is amazing, next to the mall and all the restaurants surrounding.
