Most staff could speak a little bit of english - enough that allowed them to understand basic asks, such as for coffee, breakfast etc. Breakfast was western and included croissants, toast, sausages, tomatoes, eggs etc. Breakfast is from 7:30am - 10:30am and the catering staff are even willing to make you some free coffee. The staff were all nice and the hotel's location was very central. The WiFi worked very well. It was not noisy at night. The shower was clean, though the shower gel and body wash was not the best - I'd recommend bringing your own travel-sized ones if possible. The standard room with 2 single beds was small (just enough for two beds, a wardrobe, a couple closets, a mini fridge - not sure if the fridge worked as we didn't use) but we just used the hotel as a place to sleep at night so that was not an issue.

Other people's reviews can sometimes be disappointing. It is said that the hotel is actually a converted residence. The location is average and Tirana is not that big. The worst thing is the hot water. It ran out of hot water halfway through the shower. It took a long time to heat it up before the hot water came out again. WiFi signal is terrible.
