Beem staying here dor a week and the location is good which is near Ameyoko shopping street. But the hostel amenities was rather disappointing

The stay in general was definitely worth the price. The location is great, as it is only a few minutes away from ueno station. Ueno Park is just as close and there are a lot of stores as well as restaurants close. The facilities get cleaned every day, however with a lot of people using them naturally they get dirty towards the end of the day. The sleep capsules are enough for a good sleep. The only thing I really have to criticize is the air quality. especially inside the capsule the air got really bad over night. Also as you are in a shared dorm there will always be people talking and packing at really random times, like 4am or something. Nevertheless that does not happen every night so dont be repelled by this only be warned that this could happen.

This hotel is around 10-15 minutes walk from ueno JR station. It ia clean, reception are nice. You can take amenites at lobby.
They have hair dryer and hair strainger in the bathroom.
Make.sure you check in before 11pm, otherwise no reception will help you.

Location was great, less than 10min walking to Ueno Station and lots and lots of places to eat and walk around until late if you wish, very safe, staff was great and very kind and friendly.
I will definitely redone and would stay again at Tomariya.
The bed looked and was clean, have 4 toilets in the women’s room and three showers with shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Toilets and shower very clean too.
Hairdryer and cotton swabs in the bathroom (:
They offer free water, have microwave and small fridge at the lobby in case you want to use it.
Vending machine
Laundry and dryer on site I didn’t use it but I believe you will have to pay for this service.

We have clean beds, 4 ladies toilets and 3 shower rooms with shampoo, body wash and conditioner available. The toilets and shower rooms are clean. Bathrooms are also equipped with hair dryers and cotton swabs. Complimentary drinking water, a microwave, and a small refrigerator are available in the lobby for your use. Vending machines, washers, and dryers are also on site, but you may need to pay for this service. We greatly appreciate your kind words that this was the best hostel you have ever seen.

It was very cold in the capsules and no one can do anything about it, got sick after first night, eventually lose 2 weeks of my trip to illness. Was my first and last experience with capsule hotels.

Very friendly receptionist and one of them recommended a great local restaurant called yayoi which is 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel
