Anshin Oyado Tokyo Shinbashi Shiodometen Reviews

Room is very dirty, not clean. Workers are good, but kitchen is not clean, dirty. They didn’t give me a room a shown photos, they gave me another room. But it’s location is good in the center

This hotel is located in Shiodome Ward. It is near Shinbashi Station and Shiodome Station. It is located near the road and is easy to find. There is also Anxin next to Shimbashi Station. There is a food street at Xinqiao Station, with many restaurants and a night market with many grilled goods. Shiodome is not as lively as Shimbashi at night, and there are few restaurants. The hotel rooms are divided into upper and lower compar**ents, and each compar**ent has a TV. I live in the upper grid, and I can feel movement in the lower grid, but I don't dare to make too big a move. The room is small and can only be slept in. Luggage must be placed outside or in the lockers on the second floor. The hotel has a hot spring bath on the ninth floor. The hot water is hot enough for a shower. After walking all day, soaking in the hot spring is super comfortable. The eighth floor is a rest room. There is a massage chair that can be used all day long. There is food, rice noodles, soup, tea and coffee, as well as soda and sake. You can eat and drink as you like. Great. The food is not luxurious but solid and filling. It takes more than ten minutes to walk from the hotel to Hamarikyu Palace. Although I was a little disappointed not to see any red leaves, the pine trees were elegantly pruned. The Japanese are very good at pine trees. This garden is large, the scenery is elegant, and it is worth a visit to see the Japanese pavilion. Hotel staff should be more responsive to guests. Assistance should be provided. I asked about the timetable for the tram from Shiodome or Shimbashi to Narita Airport, but I was indifferent. I checked out and still had time to visit the attractions. Of course I left my luggage at the hotel, but it seemed that there was a time limit and we would not accept the luggage after that. Even so, I give this hotel 4.7 points. Next time I come to Japan alone, I will choose this hotel to stay.

I went to many places to get capsules, but capsules like this are not common. not. I would say there are almost none. I like the cost-effectiveness and ample space for washing and resting. suggestion

A bit of a walk from the subway stations. Other than that it was all good: - comfortable bed - great Wi-Fi - water dispenser in every floor - free flow of food and beverages throughout the day - the hot bath and sauna soothed my sore body from walking around the city

I would recommend this capsule hotel for short stays, it has all amenities you will need. Storage can be an issues as they give small lockers, but they provide locks for additional bags as needed. Capsules were adequate size, but can be hot at times, and definitely not sound proof. The lack of privacy can be an issue for making phone calls. This was my first stay at this style of hotel and I enjoyed the experience, friendly and helpful staff.

This is a great deal for those who are traveling solo. Free basic meals, a spa, it’s great.

It's overall a good option. They have free food and drinks in the upstairs lounge, and free booze every night. Typical for Japan, the place is immaculately clean and the service from the front desk is great. The location is good, about 10 minute walk to the yamanote line. Shinbashi is close and has lots of bars and restaurants. From the perspective of a foreigner: --Only some of the front desk agents spoke English, but they are all extremely patient. I was always able to communicate with the help of a translator app, so be prepared to be patient on your end too. --The shower situation was different than what I am used to. There are no private shower stalls, but instead it is Japanese bath house style, where you sit on a plastic stool with pretty minimal privacy. If you are not comfortable with this, I recommend staying elsewhere. --The clientelle is primarily Japanese businessmen. If you are a foreigner looking for a social experience, this is not it. It is VERY quiet (which may or may not be a good thing) including in the lounge. The general vibe is noone talks to each other and noone will talk to you either. I ran into only a couple other foreigners who I talked with for a bit but that was it. --Keep in mind this is basically a hostel, so bring earplugs and a face mask.

It is fine for one night rest, just staff speak limited English.

Very nice place, typical upscale capsule hotel. The "free breakfast" ended up being just rice with some toppings, so quite disappointing... Other than that I really enjoyed it.

Good hotel but takes a little time to get to Ginza

I’ve never stayed at a capsule hotel so I can’t compare it to any others. However, the staff was friendly and helpful, it was very quiet (everyone is expected to be quiet), and clean. A very unique experience.

This is a great hotel in a very good location. Lots of free things! mattress is comfortable. If I go back to japan, will go there again!
