We've just had another wonderful stay with Debbie and Rich,who made us so welcome as always. A beautiful room with everything you could wish for and a superb breakfast. Also a beautiful garden to relax in. Another visit soon planned in September!

A very nice, well-kept accommodation in new condition. Debbie (and of course her husband) is very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast in a nice breakfast room. When we checked out, Debbie gave us a piece of cake for the way home. The accommodation can be highly recommended.

First visit after an 8 year absence and what can we say, fantastic! We absolutely were not to be disappointed. Debbie and Richard were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They really have thought of everything and attention to detail cannot be bettered, lovely touches like the homemade rocky road and fudge in our rooms, even spectacle wipes and usb points in the table lamps. We had a mini fridge which was stocked up daily with filtered water and milk. What can we say about the bed other than it is very dangerous as you could easily loose a day due to not being able to get out of it (so comfortable). Breakfast was excellent all locally sourced and cooked fresh to order,lots of choice. Spotlessly clean throughout with fresh flowers everywhere and beautifully decorated,what’s not to like. We’ve always loved the garden which is immaculate and I’m proud to say we were the first to relax in it with a bottle of wine this year,enjoying the sunshine. Our little dog enjoyed being in the garden too. Bentley lodge is still our favourite b&b and Debbie and Richard are a lovely couple who are doing everything right ,Debbie even gave us homemade fruitcake to take home which was delicious. Needless to say we have booked to return next year and we and our little dog are really looking forward to it.

Yet again a wonderful stay at the Bentley lodge. Breakfast delicious and made fresh, if it’s not on the menu Debbie & Richard will go out their way to get it. Rooms extremely spacious and spotless Everything you could ask for. Will definitely be returning

This is a superb gem of a Guest House in a quiet road, set back a short walk from the seafront in Torquay. The Proprietors Debbie and Richard go above and beyond to make your stay absolutely perfect. They have thought of everything. The property is spotless, beautifully decorated and maintained, with fresh flowers in all the rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding and towels are of a very high quality. The delicious breakfast is freshly cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients and there is a fridge in the bedrooms with jugs of fresh filtered water and fresh milk replenished whenever it is required. We had a wonderful stay at Bentley Lodge and would return in a heartbeat. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for high quality accommodation and lovely friendly hosts who make sure you are happy and you have everything you need. Absolutely fantastic couple nights stay again. Debbie and rich are amazing hosts, always helpful and so attentive nothing is ever too much. The breakfast tastes fantastic as always, did not disappoint at all. The room was spotless, spacious and modern and had everything we need. All round brilliant experience!

My wife and I enjoyed a 4 night stay at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast almost by accident. The hotel we had booked via ******* wanted more money, so ******* booked us in here & we were so thankful. Debbie and Richard are wonderful hosts and could not do enough to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Our en suite room was fabulous with a great selection of hot drinks via a hot water boiler. There was a silent fridge in the room, which Debbie made sure was topped up with chilled water and real milk. The additional touches of homemade fudge and rocky road were heavenly. A great choice of breakfasts were available, and the eggs were like nothing you would see in a supermarket, bright yellow yolks! A wonderful garden to sit out in and a small lounge with comfortable seating. I could go on, but will finish by saying if you're in Torquay you must look up Bentley Lodge, it knocks many of the bigger hotels onto a cocked hat. Thank you Debbie and Richard.

After searching for hours for suitable accommodation for a short break in Torquay I stumbled across Bentley Lodge. My husband and I stayed for four nights and what a delight it was. The guesthouse is immaculately clean and well looked after. The hosts Debbie and Rich will do absolutely anything to ensure that your stay is pleasant and are full of information in relation to the local area. Our room was quite simply beautiful and the little touches such as the fresh filtered water in the fridge or the sweet treats by the bed added to the experience. The daily breakfast was divine and the menu is quite extensive so you will be spoiled for choice. Torre train station is a very short walk away and the trains and buses were frequent enough to allow us to leave the car at the guest house for our whole stay. I can’t recommend Bentley Lodge any higher and we are already planning our next visit. Thank you Debbie and Rich for the slices of fruit cake and Easter Eggs when we left. Much appreciated.
