Our third visit and yet again, absolutely wonderful. The pool view is something that always takes my breath away. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We were in room 701 which has been modernised with plenty storage space. Loved it so much, we’ve already booked again for next year

In January me and my partner booked a 3 night all inclusive stay via jet2 holidays at the Theo Sunset Bay hotel. I could not praise the hotel, the staff and the restaurants enough! We arrived at the hotel in the evening and had absolutely no issues at all, the staff on the front desk were all wonderful and extremely helpful and polite. once we had settled we made our way down to the bar and again the bar staff were wonderful, they gave us plenty of advice on what the best drinks were and gave amazing service! After we had finished drinking in the bar we went into the little shop in the hotel and bought some drinks and snacks for the room, once again the service was exceptional and the lady in the shop was very polite and helpful. The room itself was a little on the basic side but had exactly everything we needed and was spotless, we were even lucky enough to get a balcony that overlooked the beach! it was cleaned daily and the staff always came with a smile on their face at a reasonable time. After the first night we tried the breakfast restaurant which was absolutely wonderful serving a wide variety of breakfast foods. The hotel pools were all incredibly clean and the staff again were very friendly. The hotel food in the evening restaurant was delicious every day! Each day had a different theme for food and not once did we come away disappointed. The hotel is very picturesque and in an ideal location, being within walking distance from local beaches and restaurants as well as being very close to the bus stops that will take you straight into pathos for a very cheap fair! I would highly recommend the Theo Sunset Bay hotel to anyone 5stars!

Myself and my partner recently booked for three nights all inclusive but checked out after one. We had been travelling around the island and decided to stay here as part of the trip as it was one of the hotels we had looked at booking for when we stay next year for our wedding. On arrival it was immediate bad first impressions. The hotel sign was sun bleached and tired looking. My partner actually thought it was just somewhere we had to drive through to get to our hotel. Sadly no. The main lobby was nice with open aspect to the pool and view. Room: we were given room 066. The lobby to the block smelled like animals. The lift lighting was full of dead flies. The room itself needs some serious TLC. The wardrobe was old and falling apart. The fuse for the fridge which we had to turn on when we arrived was faulty. The towel rail and shower head were loose form the wall. And apart from what looked like coffee splashed on a socket beside the bed it was clean. Aircon was not good either couldn’t get cooler than 22° we asked front desk to sort it but we left before any maintenance. Food and drink: we had a salad and toasty from the bar for lunch. Salad was very fresh and big portions. The drinks were terrible. We sampled a few cocktails, blue lagoon tasted like soap. So I then tried a vodka and coke and again it was very cheap tasting stuff so we decided not to have any more. In the evening we went to the buffet and the selection was very small and disappointing. Pool: the pool is clean and sun beds are comfy but are very old looking and worn. The view is amazing one of the best from a hotel. Which is a shame the hotel lets it down. We decided to check out and when reception asked why we explained it was not what we expected they didn’t ask anything further. They handled our request very professionally.

First trip to Cyprus. Booked an Easter break with my daughter as the rest of the family busy with work commitments. I don't usually write hotel of holiday review but thought I'd try and give a fair reflection of our week away. Arrived at Paphos Airport after a 5 hour flight, passports and luggage collection was a bit slow to say the least. If you have ever been to a Greek Island I found the roads in Cyprus about the same so the transfer again wasn't the swiftest but we did get to the Theo Sunset and the driver was helpful and friendly. There wasn't much of the day left but pleased to say when we arrived reception was quiet, staff really friendly and efficient so within 10 minutes we made it to our room. The brochure said side sea view? We were on the ground floor and you could just about make out the sea through the building work at another hotel as the Theo Sunset is set one row further back. Cases partly unpacked we had a wonder around before the evening buffet meal in the restaurant on the upper floor. Once out by the swimming pools we found the views much better, if you cut through the back of the hotel and go between the building you are soon on the coastal path which is excellent and well worth walking along. My Daughter and I found the buffet restaurant fine, my Daughter isn't very adventurous but we found something for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Twice she ordered from the snack menu at the bar and skipped lunch as she preferred this option. Alot of fresh salad, sauces and a selection on Greek based foods. I'll try anything, if you don't like something try another option because we found enough selections. If you want egg and chips or burgers then maybe not for you, so try Blackpool. We found the restaurant and bar staff really friendly and efficient. We happened to be at the Hotel whilst there was an Official public holiday in Cyprus so it did get quite busy but no problem for the staff, they remained calm and efficient. Our room was clean and tidy, towels changed every 2 days but room cleaned everyday and beds made up. I read in one review about ants. We did have some ants on the outside patio, bolied the kettle and get rid with hot water, job done. I found Taxi quite expensive and also wasn't sure where he was going even though I had the destination on Google maps. Rest of the week used buses, suggest all day pass so you if you miss a stop or need a connection just jump on another bus. Weather was great (can't blame anyone if it rains, luck of the draw) and sun loungers easy to get. Swimming pools clean but they are a bit chilly. My daughter used the SPA for one treatment, probably not a Hoar Cross Hall but she was happy enough with the staff and the treatment. Overall we had a pleasant stay. Would we go again, probably but we do like to visit different places so maybe in a year or so.

On arrival the reception staff helpful. Said go for food as closes 9pm. We came back and got our card key. The receptionist showed us how to lock the door in leaving our suite. We followed instructions and were locked put. Up we go to reception who give us a proper key. This overrides the card key. Day 2 our bedroom door slam shut and we csnt get in, reception sort it t out Food is not really a good variety, same each day. Pork, chicken or beef. Having said that enough for me to enjoy. Bus station to Coral Bay or paphos across the road and 2 euros to get there. We booked a suite which included a lovely sitting room and bedroom. If I had young kids it would be perfect

We stayed at the Theo Sunset Bay for four nights in mid- March and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The views from the hotel are amazing and can be seen from the pools, restaurants and bar. The staff were all wonderful, particularly those in the bar, and were all friendly, helpful and attentive. We were all inclusive and the food was lovely with lots of variety. As a vegan, there were lots of options for me - a great salad bar, lots of vegetables and fruits and a good variety of breads. There was live music on three of the nights we were there, which was great, and lots of facilities to keep us busy including a gym, indoor pool, tennis court, table tennis and pool table. The local area is quiet but the views along the coastal path are stunning and there are bus stops outside the hotel with buses every 10 minutes to Coral Bay and Paphos. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone as everything was perfect for us during our stay. We had the most fantastic time and would love to return in the future.

First time in Cyprus and stayed here with friends. We were there on b&b basis however I didn’t actually try the food here so can’t comment on selection or quality. The room was comfortable but bed sheet was unclean on arrival :/ There were no cooking or self catering facilities however there was a fridge in the room which came in handy. Despite us being there out of season, there was entertainment in the form of a singer. Same guy each night. Not great but he did his best and we appreciated the effort. Staff were helpful and friendly

Beautiful location, if a bit remote, absolutely stunning views. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent food with plenty of variety, different theme every night. Room was a little dated but still very comfortable. Easy access to bus routes if you do want to get out and about .

Very average hotel. Everything is old and need renovation( Food average as well. We didn't expect much from the beginning, needed just sleepover for 2 nights, so for this purpose might be ok. But for the long vacation I would not recommend it
