Impressive hotel that feels like an Opera House with massive ceiling and ornate features in the lobby. Beautiful indoor fountain especially creates a relaxing ambience. Staff are friendly and professional. Room cleanliness is good, as is Wi-Fi and working space. Outdoor areas near Union Buildings are perfect to relax, as is lobby bar. A la carte chicken supreme and salmon are super. Overall a great choice if you like grand interior design, friendly staff and proximity to Union Buildings

We booked this hotel as a stop over before it was CT hotels and were very disappointed. There is no doubt that it is a classic building and could be a fab place to stay but at the moment it needs work. We saw no other guests during our stay, the snack we were offered was deep fried frozen chicken samosas etc. And the bar did not have many of the items on the menu. There was a problem with the hot water that was eventually fixed. The staff did what they could but the hotel needs to get back on its feet. As tourists we were advised not to venture outside unescorted as not safe. Not an area we would revisit.

we came for a 5 days trip. negative point Very Old Hotel, facilities reduced, very dark depressed reception, regular water & electricity cutting. Positive Points: Excellent Staff !!! that deserved better facilities "owner!!! wake up!! I will forget names but Chef Sharlene, Chef Nicholas, Alfonso, Johannes, Sarah , Pauline, Sonia s Pomona and others were simply Amaizing ( Professional, Helpful , Friendly. At the end of the day, the full hotel has a great staff !!! proud of you Guys in such difficult conditions.

Formerly the Sheraton. Staff were great. The property was dated. Someone jumped into the elevator who was not a hotel guest and propositioned me. Luckily he got off before I reached my room floor, but it was unsettling.

Not 5 star. Maybe 2 star.
This is not a 5 stat hotel. Cocroach in the room as we got in. Hair left oher in the basin. Filthy carpets and curtains.
