Everything is closed, the spa, pool, hot tub and restaurant. We were only told the spa was closed and didn’t get notification of it until 6pm the night before our check in. The staff are amazing, quality employees who are doing their best! Way over priced for basically a place to lay you head at night in the middle of nowhere.

This place is excellent. I would go back again but not in February. The pool was not open, the spa was not open and although the restaurant was suppose to be open, it was not on the first day of our stay. A resort, means just that. It includes the spa, pool and restaurant.

Incredible lobby with a beautiful main staircase. Very relaxing bar and Restaurant with an amazing four-sided fireplace that was burning real wood. Places to sit all around fireplace, relaxing and quiet to enjoy a drink or some food

Booked a one night stay with couples massage. Got to the hotel and found out the next the spa was closed for renovations. We were not contacted beforehand or we would not have stayed here. Breakfast had no eggs…90% of the offerings included eggs so were limited to pancakes waffles or toast. Very disappointing experience at a place that seems to have so much potential. Will not be coming back

Nothing was working as advertised. Hot tub room = no hot tub, only the shower is working. Spa = no coverage, no appointments available, no towels, no access to changing rooms, etc. Restaurant = limited dining at the bar only. Full Breakfast = cold buffet only. Room = not very clean. Room TV, no streaming available. Service = unconcerned with any requests for assistance. Seems like every time I visit, this place is offline for a change of management, staff, or some other issue.

I stayed during the NH primary when the hotels in NH was 2x to 3x more expensive. The hotel was clean, quiet, safe and the staff couldn't be nicer.

The most comfortable beds, pillows and bedding. The shower pressure is great too. Good size rooms. The only drawback is the $150 per night hold they put on your card. It ties up too much money while you’re traveling. The restaurant was a disappointment.

I think they have many opportunities to improvement the hotel. There are areas not ready like the gyms, the stairs for access to Spa is not the properly, the Jacuzzis and swimming pool area is good, but it is not near the lobby. And not breakfast available in my visit.

My husband and I stayed here for our 15 year wedding anniversary. The room wasn’t as clean as it should be; spilled over coffee from the coffee maker in the room. Surfaces weren’t wiped or dusted. The spa and pool are located in a separate detached building which you either walk or drive to. The restaurant was being remodeled so it was closed and the bar and lounge closed due to being short staffed. You have to book two weeks in advance for a massage or spa services. If it weren’t for Kerry who came in on her day off, she made the stay more enjoyable! Super friendly and nice! She deserves a raise!

No reservation for me in their system even though I confirmed it with them last time I stayed here 5 weeks ago. At check-in was told that the restaurant and bar opened from 4pm to 9 pm but when we attempted to go to the bad at 4:15 was told that it was closed due to staff shortage. Room was comfortable and clean.

Beauriful Chateua, but they need to keep up with technology for Amenities. No cable or satellite televison available in guestnroom. Also one treadmill in fitness center was out of order.

After a full day of driving it was a treat to end our day at Chateau Merrimack. This resort hotel has undergone a huge transformation and it’s beautiful. The rooms are massive, well appointed and beautifully lit and the beds are comfortable. The pillows were a bit puffy for my liking, but that’s how it goes sometimes. The bathrooms are enormous and the tub/ shower combo was luxurious, and there are heat lamps to warm the large space which is a nice touch. Our favourite feature was the pool/hot tub. Located in a separate (very charming) building, the pool was warm and perfect for a leisure swim and some short laps after a full day in the car and the hot tub helped melt all the tension away. The loungers, plants, lighting and design of the pool house make you feel like you’re at a resort and if this spot wasn’t a 10-hour drive from home, we’d definitely return regularly for spa visit staycations. The restaurant was closed for renovations and a menu upgrade (they did give us a tour of the space though, and it’s lovely!) but the lounge/bar was open and we were able to order a delicious Caesar salad, yummy wings and a plate of fries that satisfied three of us. They have a gorgeous wood burning fireplace that smells incredible and makes the space warm and cozy. The staff we were warm, welcoming and truly seem to enjoy their workplace which adds to the good vibes this hotel gives off. For 4.5 stars I expected it to be a lot cleaner. The toilet was not scrubbed. There were fuzzies and little pieces of fabric/paper on the floors. The sheets had some little black hairs on them. You can tell the cleaning staff is really trying to cut corners. The property is nice. The lounge with fireplace is a nice area to hang out for a drink.

This was a great find for me. You don't find hotels like this anymore where there is so much uniqueness to it and beautiful grounds. I would recommend to anyone who loves to get away from the chain hotels.

It was a really nice property. Only downside was walking to the pool building in the cold since it's not attached to the main building.
