Truly in love with this space, a proper immersive jungle vibe with serene over arching greenery, tiny bridge walkways and optionable cute little cottage style rooms. The staff here are quick and prompt, well informed. Havent eaten breakfast here but it looked and smelled delightful! It is located walking distance from the market. Whenever I do return to SL, SecretGarden is hands down my first choice for stay!

The beautifiul hotel in the beautiful place. Approximately 50 meters by the beach. The willing and patient staff amd magical atmosphere, very tasty meals and everytime clear fresh water. Lot of restaurants and magazines, tuktuks... in the neighborhood...

I stayed in Secret Garden for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Super close to the beach, off the main street and thus very quiet, still enough tuk tuks around to get from A to B, incredibly helpful stuff, the owner is a very warm and lovely person, historical old building, very beautiful garden. Absolutely recommended

Vi valgte Unawatuna frem for Galle for at komme tættere på stranden. Secret garden ligger i anden række fra stranden med meget nem adgang. Stedet er en fantastisk kombination af en gammel kolonial bygning med omkringliggende have, og moderne srilankansk tilgang til gæster. Vi følte os meget velkomne i et stort hyggeligt værelse med de nødvendige faciliteter. Dejlig morgenmad til fleksible tider.

Villa immersa in un bel parco in posizione comoda alla spiaggia e ai servizi di Unawatuna (la peggiore località visitata in Sri Lanka). La stanza a noi assegnata era umida (fortissimo odore di muffa), datata e infestata da (grossi) ragni e colonie di formiche. Bagno esterno con doccia all’aperto (praticamente visibile dai passanti), porte incrinate (impossibili da chiudere…e a volte anche da aprire!), zanzariere bucate, prese scomode e accessori “finti” (bollitore e frigorifero non collegabili…). Unica nota positiva: personale disponibilissimo e ottima colazione. Nel complesso comunque un PESSIMO rapporto qualità/prezzo.
