Urbino Hotels with Airport pickup service

Location in the truest sense of the word “top” – uphill and just below the fortress. In the middle of the historical city and only steps away from pretty much all the sights and places you want to visit. The view from the room picture-book pretty, the room itself spacious and nicely furnished. All the personnel - without an exception - professional, very friendly and always helpful – and the owner Giulio Lonzi repeatedly went over and above the call of duty. He gave helpful advice on parking - literally impossible inside the city walls, but with a weekly “minipass” for the multi-storey car park reasonably priced and so convenient. He even called us, when he thought we were a bit late in arriving, to check if we were ok, then directed us to the right ticket office and arranged for a taxi to pick us up (even though you can get a short-term permit to take your car to the hotel and back to drop your luggage, you really don’t want to tackle those steep narrow streets, believe me). When my wife sprained her ankle while on a day trip, he directed us to the nearest emergency room and picked us up later himself, when we were stranded without a taxi in sight and her totally incapable of more than hopping on one leg. He helped me to drag/carry her up the last few metres from his car to the hotel and up to the room and … believe it or not, he managed to conjure up a pair of crutches for her before we had even started to wonder if and where we could get some. He then provided us with addresses of restaurants that would deliver meals to the hotel. The man repeatedly solved our problems, before we even realized we had one. He finally spent ages to find a wonderful restaurant for my birthday dinner – on a Sunday in October at the nearby Adriatic coast when the season there had practically ended and most restaurants were closed … To put it in a nutshell – staying in the Raffaello is like staying with a friend … a good friend! Thank you Giulio! We’ll be back!

Hotel molto bello, confortevole e moderno, camera pulita e con meraviglioso panorama sulla valle. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. La parte della SPA è davvero bella e la nostra esperienza è stata molto positiva. La Riflessologia plantare che ho prenotato è stata una bellissima esperienza di relax e conoscenza, e l'operatrice che mi ha fatto il massaggio è stata davvero molto empatica, brava e professionale...mi ha aperto un mondo e la ringrazio moltissimo!! Per il resto, avevamo mezza pensione, devo fare i complimenti per il reparto colazione (torte ottime) e per la cena poi presso l'Osteria al 3. Cucina molto buona, pizza Bufalina fenomenale e personale gentile...unico consiglio per migliorare il servizio per la cena è solo quello di non far aspettare tanto le persone. In toto esperienza da rifare, rilassante in un posto davvero bello in una città affascinante come Urbino!!

Abbiamo soggiornato un paio di giorni per una breve vacanza. Hotel dalle camere un pò datate, la cui pulizia può essere assolutamente migliorata. Lo spazzolino del bagno come si può vedere dalla foto l'abbiamo trovato sporco, non è stato un bell'inizio... sarò io un pò schizzinosa? Il personale é educato ma molto freddo, cosa strana per la popolazione marchigiana generalmente sempre sorridente, l'aria condizionata nelle camere molto alta e il termostato in camera non funzionante, la prima sera abbiamo chiamato la reception ma non ci hanno saputo aiutare e quindi abbiamo dormito con la finestra aperta e vi lascio immaginare, con il caldo è la strada molto frequentata. Fortunatamente la seconda sera il receptionist ci ha regolato l'aria dalla sua postazione. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Questa recensione non vuole essere una critica negativa , ma costruttiva da parte della struttura. Il parcheggio è molto ampio .
