Staying at a hotel on the mountain and the view is beyond praise!
The breakfast restaurant every morning and the fire roasting in the evening have a sense of ”back to the past”, but at the same time, it is very comfortable.
However, the breakfast content is actually a bit monotonous, but this is Ushuaia after all, so you can’t ask for too much.

Let me talk about the shortcomings first. The room is too small and the facilities in the room are incomplete. The whole room has only two power outlets, one under the table and one in the bathroom, which is inconvenient. There is no air conditioning, but there is electric heating, it is very close to the table, it is easy to be scalded, and the sound insulation is not good. Breakfast is average, but in Ushuaia in winter, there are fresh fruits, meat, and fullness, so you can’t ask for too much, and the pastries are quite delicious. The hotel is on a hillside, a certain distance away from the tourist area of Ushuaia. It takes 20 minutes to walk and take a taxi for 100 pesos, about 10 yuan, which is acceptable. Otherwise, the heavy snow will still feel like going home on the snow.
Besides the advantages, the scenery is invincible, because on the hillside, the view is excellent, and the hotel lobby overlooks the entire harbour. On the other side is a small forest. The day I arrived there happened to be heavy snow, covered in silver, and very comfortable. Then the hotel seems to be under the umbrella of a tourism group. There are hotels and travel agencies in the city center, so the tickets for national parks and lighthouses with them are discounted very much. You can also pick up and drop off from the door to the park, which is very convenient.
Located in Ushuaia, Los Cauquenes Resort + Spa + Experiences is by the sea, within a 10-minute drive of Centro de Visitantes Alakush and Solar del Bosque. This beach hotel is 2.8 mi (4.5 km) from Bahia Lapataia and 3 mi (4.8 km) from Laguna del Diablo.

The scenery is too beautiful. It can be a business trip and just stayed for one day. If you come here in winter, it is really great. It is very suitable for vacation and the prices are also very cheap. King crabs and steaks are very cheap. Argentine Sol The exchange rate is really invincible

The Hotel has an excellent location and very comfortable rooms. Check-in was fast and easy. The staff was very kind and helped us with the information needed for a pleasant stay. The beds, linens and towels were new and had good quality. Keep in mind that the hotel is located on the main street of Ushuaia, so the size of the rooms are not big, but they are comfortable enough. There is also a nice balcony to see the street and the mountains. The breakfast was very good with juices, cereals, breads, eggs, and fruits.

The location of the hotel is very good. The street behind is the commercial street. The front is the port. You can walk to the pier at sea in three or five minutes, about 100 meters from the end of the world museum. But the hotel is very old, the rooms are small and the facilities are average. The front desk speaks English, the service is very good, and we recommend travel agencies and restaurants for us. Front desk service is worth five stars

I hate leaving bad reviews; travelling here from the US was a long and exhausting process. I arrived at 07:30, way ahead of check in, and didn't expect a room, but maybe a place where I could sit and have coffee. Gentlemen at the desk said coffee was part of breakfast buffet, that I needed to wait until I was checked in for the next day. Really? I couldn't have coffee even though I was booked here two nights? Wow. I got checked in at 1, which was fine, but the room was uncomfortably warm. I found the thermostat and turned the heat to cool. Tried to nap (up all night traveling here), but it was too warm. And, I heard people talking like they were in my room. They were in an adjacent room - talking in normal voices - no sound barrier at all! I set the air to the coldest setting and left, returned a couple of hours later and the room was hot. I called the front desk and was told no air conditioning and to open a window. Loud construction and traffic - and the neighbors talking = no sleep again. Day 2, repeat. New neighbors talking, room still hot, loud noises out the window. The hotel also offers free WiFi, but it was slow and intermittent at best. Just terrible. I thought I would give them a pass on that since we were at the ”end of the world,” but found the restaurants I ate at had good WiFi. Asides: no water or coffee available except until 10:00. The bigger issue was water, as the guides I read claimed ”tap water in Ushuaia is not potable.” I've traveled to Africa (several times), Borneo, Thailand, Norway, S Korea, Costa Rica - every place I've stayed provided water, and most had coffee or other beverages available throughout the day as complimentary. To be fair, they provided bottled water in the rooms - but in the mini bar for a price. And breakfast? The breakfast plates they provide are the size of coffee saucers! And the first thing they took away from the breakfast bar was the coffee pot!! So - not impressed. I would not stay here again.

The location is a few hundred meters from the city center. The city is really beautiful. Every time you walk around, you can enjoy it. The police station is also very close, and our three girls feel that they are also full of security. . . Originally set a double room, met another girl in the middle, went directly to the hotel to upgrade to a triple room, only added a little difference in three nights, more than cost-effective. . . The reception is also very nice! Breakfast is also available. There is a small yard with a cat, so cute. When it's snowing, if there is no snow, bring a pot of tea or coffee, you can stay there for a whole day, like Ushuaia, I hope there will be a chance to go again. . .

The hotel is located on the streets of St. Martin Street, the location is very easy to find. The room comes with its own kitchenette. This is the hotel where I don’t need to ask the front desk for a hot water pot during the whole trip to Argentina. The room has its own central air-conditioning, and the temperature cannot be adjusted by itself. The hotel’s massage is great, but you must make an appointment in advance, it seems that there is only one technician. After I checked in, I went out to play first. When I made an appointment, I could only make an appointment. My husband unfortunately gave me the opportunity. Those who want a massage must make an appointment early! The entire hotel seems to only speak English at the front desk, and the rest of the staff are very polite, but there are some difficulties in communication, but it does not affect the quality of staying in this hotel.
P.S. This hotel was when Zhao Youting was filming Antarctic Love with the crew.

The service attitude is very poor and does not meet the five-star standard. When going to the airport, the hotel bus will not allow a piece of hand luggage to be taken. You must take a taxi to leave. I encountered this for the first time.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe hotel is perfect, the location is excellent, the room is large and comfortable and the breakfast is plentiful. You can feel it is good service but you don’t have to ask them for anything as they all consider you ahead.
GGuest UserThe apartment was okay. The faucets in the shower were hard to set for the right temperature with the hot water. It was too hot or too cold and if one doesn't want to be burned, one has to have a weak flow of water. If I increased the flow the water was scorching hot. The apartments was a studio with a bed, chairs, kitchen, fully loaded with dishes, silverware. The closet space was fine and over all the place was it very clean. It is good for two people. The problem was the communication regarding the check-in process. It was not at the apartments, but on the other side of the street on the rear at the Alto Andino Hotel and to get there one has to walk about 200 feet to the corner, make a left for a 300 feet walk up a steep hill, then make another left for an additional walk of 250 feet. The walk is not a problem, but not with a 50lb duffel bag and a 19lb carry-on. If I had been told about this, I would have asked the Uber driver to take me to the Alto Andino Hotel for check-in and I would have asked the driver to wait for me to take me to the Vela apartments. Instead the Uber driver dropped me at the La Vela apts. and I was outside the apartments with my luggage, knocking at the door waiting and hoping for someone to open the door. I tried to call the number of the La Vela apts. listed on the email reservation, but I got a message from the cell service stating the number was a not working number. After about a half hour waiting, a guest of the apartments that was returning from breakfast told me about the ckeck-in issue, he also stated that he had the same problem. When I complained to the receptionist of the Alto Andino hotel, a guy, he just didn't say anything at all, he didn't even say the reason the phone didn't work. To enter the apartments, one has to key in a code. The next day management changed the code and I was not informed, so I couldn't get in the building. I tried to call the La Vela apts. at the number listed on the paper work I got at the time of check-in the day before, but no one answered the phone!!! I had to walk to the Alto Andino Hotel, I complained to the same guy that checked me in the day before, he just gave me the new combination and said that he was busy checking-in other guests, so he couldn't answer the phone. If one wants to have breakfast, one has to pay an additional $10, and it's at the Alto Andino Hotel. The breakfast was okay. The only problem was that both the coffee and the hot water for the tea were cold.
GGuest UserThe location is still a good store, restaurant, all walk around this neighborhood. But there is also a bad thing, that is, it is too noisy at night, his room is basically on the second floor and the third floor of the city. I don't know why there is a lot of locomotive sound at night.
The service is very good, and the boss is very enthusiastic.
The facilities are very poor, The bed is very old and the bedding is not as good as the domestic two-star guest house, all of which are chemical fiber.
The curtains can't be all pulled up, it's very strange how to change clothes...
The hotel seems brand new: rooms are spacious, comfortable (the bed in particular) with all the facilities required, bedrooms' furniture is new and luxurious. I loved the warm feeling experienced in the way back to the hotel after a long day out in the cold. There's a 20% discount if you eat in the on-site restaurant and they also do room service. 24/7 reception, kind staff and nice breakfast. The cleaning service was perfect. Just a few suggestions: I would have appreciated bacon in the morning. The bread served for dinner is very dry, seems old. WiFi very slow in peak hours. All in all, a great experience.
Really happy with my choice. bedrooms very basic but clean and everything works. but the house is lovely with lots of guest areas to sit and enjoy. sunny balcony. really confortable place and Anna and family are great hosts. she had lots of useful local suggestions. i was meeting friends who were staying in hotels and they paid double the price and had various complaints. i would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is minimal but adequate. a 10 minute walk to the waterfront and a bit longer to get back as it’s uphill.
The restaurant dinner was genuinely fabulous - Michelin worthy. Mushroom risotto followed by a beef tenderloin that was 6 inches high and grilled to perfection. After that, a chocolate fondue with fruit and profiteroles! This is why I gave the hotel five stars. Had it not been for that meal, it would have earned 4. Unfortunately, the soundproofing between rooms is virtually nonexistent. This fact takes away from the beautiful view over the Beagle Channel. Service at the hotel was also very good with one big exception, a rather sullen woman (shania or something like it) greeted us on the fist day with absolute apathy and was never pleasant after that. The balance of the staff are great. But if you choose not to stay any the hotel, eat at the restaurant. It is worth the trip.
QQIANGFirst of all, the store is very enthusiastic. This hostel is more suitable for professional backpackers. It is cheap and can cook small meals. The location is okay, the city is just a little bit big anyway.
Hygiene should be rougher, after all, many backpackers are somewhat unaccustomed. The bathroom is shared, hot water is available.
The scenery is infinitely good
Again
778LaurenM4I prepaid for 2 nights (to save $) but only stayed one. The bottom line is that someone was rooting around in my room and the hotel staff showed zero concern about it. The full story: I stopped at the hotel before dinner and found my room had been cleaned (btw, no 'do not disturb' option). Otherwise all was well. When I returned from dinner, someone had been in my room - stuff was moved and the TV was on. I immediately told the front desk, and she offered to have the cameras checked the following day. I insisted that they be checked immediately, to which she tried to call an administrator but got no answer. There was no offer to give me a different room or any other show of concern so I asked for a refund (also required an administrator) and left. No way I was staying there with no idea who was in my room or why. I booked through hotels.com who assured me that was unacceptable and that they'd sort out my refund... but had to contact the hotel administrators first. First, it'd only take them half an hour to review the cctv. Half an hour later? Nothing. The next day - they needed another hour. I gave them 2. It was Saturday and the right people wouldn't be in until Monday. After all of that, my refund was denied with no explanation. I still have no idea who was in my room or why, but I'm so glad I had all my valuables with me (no safe in the room). PS. I only asked for a refund of the 2nd night, which I thought was pretty darn reasonable given how bad the first night was: First off: NO WIFI. It existed but didn't actually work - got maybe 10 minutes of checking email before it died. The hotel is under construction. My room had exposed fuses and no patio railing. But there also was no doorknob on the patio door so... yeah. There were construction supplies on the patio wrapped in plastic that whipped around in the wind all night. Very noisy. And cold - no thermostat in the room and only a thin (stained) blanket provided. They stupidly chose to install soaking tubs instead of normal bathtubs. They look nice, but the bottom isn't flat at all. I'm 34yo with fantastic balance (paddleboarding and ice hockey) and my shower almost killed me. The beds are hard with limp pillows. Breakfast is supposed to stop at 10am but they stop putting out new food around 9am so by 9:30 your options are dry toast and/or lunch meat. They also aren't flexible about this at all - overhear an older woman seeing if they could eat 10 min early as they were doing a tour - denied. My new hotel gave me the option to open breakfast early or pack me a lunch when I told them I'd have to check out before breakfast started. If you choose to book here in spite of all this, also be aware that the name on the front of the building is something about being a hotel at the end of the world. I almost didn't go in just because I wasn't sure I was in the right place at all.
