Great location in Valparaiso. Can walk to many restaurants and landmarks. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I arrived early and they allowed me to check in early since my room was ready. Provided great recommendations for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was adequate with fresh scrambled eggs. Room was clean and I slept really well in the comfortable bed. Definitely recommend for your trip to Valparaiso!

We had a brief but exceptional stay. It’s located in a great part of town, it’s really well appointed - totally in keeping with the artistic locale, and the staff could not have been more helpful from the point of arrival to the point of departure. There’s a lovely roof terrace where the view of the sunrise must be about the best in town, and breakfast (which is included) absolutely hits the spot. I could not recommend this place more highly.

This hotel is amazingly cozy, it almost makes you not want to leave to explore the city. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful, giving me tips on where to go (and which streets/areas to avoid). Breakfast was so fun, especially since I was often the only one there. The eggs were so good! The rooftop terrace is incredible, this hotel is a must stay for the rooftop alone. The neighborhood nearby is incredibly walkable (lots of hills though, be prepared), with tons of shops, restaurants, galleries, street art, funiculars, etc, everything is nearby. Incredible views. I recommend getting some ice cream from the nearby heladeria (3 mins walk) and eating it on the rooftop, taking in the views.

We stayed 4 nights in a Loft room at the start of our 7 week South America holiday. The staff were all very helpful with good English. The breakfast was much better than we expected. Our room was adequate although very warm. A fan would have helped. The bathroom was very cosy. The location was good although the walk up the steep hill at the end of a long day was challenging. We loved our time in Valparaiso and did many walking tours. The street art is amazing.

The front desk service was excellent and helped us with everything that we needed. Florencia was amazing, as well as the gentleman in the evenings. They went out of their way to help us with every detail, and question that we had. The breakfast was also very good. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop deck and bar had excellent views of the city and was magical in the evenings. We would definitely be going back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. All the prior reviews were found to be very accurate and to the point. We had a very comfortable room with a kitchenette area, which was great for a making hot beverages in the morning and reheating some leftovers in the microwave From a delicious restaurant located nearby. One of the best things, is the hospitality of the staff. The front desk team were very welcoming and assisted with recommendations and tourist information. Breakfast was very good in the morning and the restaurant team were willing to cook your eggs, anyway you desired. The city does have security issues so be sure to ask the staff for tips on how to stay safe. I don’t want to be overly alarming, but vigilance is required. We did witness a tourist being robbed down by the harbor area, quite some distance from the hotel. We did a very enjoyable walking tour of the city and of course felt safe within the group.

Our 7 person party of family and friends had deluxe and loft rooms at Casa Galos for 5 days through Easter Sunday 2024. These were spacious, and well appointed with excellent views of the hills and ocean, including an open roof terrace with sofas, and walking access to many nearby restaurants, shops and popular points of colorful exploration. Day trip rides and Ubers came readily and safe street parking were convenient, enabling visits to Vina del Mar and Isla Negra. Breakfast was ample and fresh, staff were helpful in finding excellent eateries. Especially convenient was fair priced laundry service with same-day turnaround. Casa Galos is a gem for Valparaiso tourism with comfy beds and pillows and daily cleaning, nice showers and bath tubs.
