The location is fantastic. We stayed in room 310, and the views of the mountains, hot air balloons, and paragliders right in front of us were incredible, almost as if we could reach out and touch them. I bought a sandwich from the hotel and enjoyed a beer on the balcony by myself – it was a perfect time. However, the facilities are extremely old. There are only stairs, and the climb to the third floor is quite steep, with varying step heights, so you need to watch your balance. The door only opens halfway. The shower door is also cracked. There were a few mosquitoes in the room, but thankfully the air conditioning worked well.

This was my second time staying at Domon Riverside Hotel, and overall it is still a very nice and affordable place in Vang Vieng. The hotel is very convenient. They have motorcycle rentals, coffee, and even money exchange at the front desk. The owner couple are very friendly, kind, and welcoming people. However, this time the service was not as good. When we asked the cleaner to change the bed, they looked unhappy and made angry facial expressions, which was annoying. There was also a Spanish group playing loud music and talking very loudly. Despite this, the hotel is still beautiful and the owners remain polite and friendly. I still recommend this affordable hotel to anyone visiting Vang Vieng

Location is great. View from window is nice. Room is fine & normal. Comfortable bed. Hot shower is stable. Wifi is jumpy. The fridge is terrible, moulds and melted water inside, must check & clean before use. Staff don't speak English. Difficult to ask help to arrange tours / transportation. My room is exactly on the common deck level. The hotel have no quiet policy. Guests have beer & talk & laugh right outside the door after 0000 until at least 2am. I was awaken several times & get very pissed & need to ask them be quiet.

Always happy to come and stay here. Friendly staff. Nice accom. Great location. Nice view. May not suitable for big luggage as there is no lift. But everything else is wonderful.

This is my second time staying here. The view from the mountain view room is incredible! The staff are also very courteous and wonderful. There's a decent-sized fridge, so you can chill plenty of beer. A hairdryer was also provided. You can relax and enjoy a beer while watching the sunset. Amazing!

The staff are a huge plus; they were super enthusiastic, responding to messages and booking tours for us, even late at night. The location is excellent, it's a comfortable walk to all the attractions. Facilities and cleanliness are average, and the room had a slight smell, but it wasn't too bothersome. The hotel offers a beautiful sunset view.
