Amari Vang Vieng
"The staff are the highlight of this place. The building is dated, doesn’t feel like a five star hotel. The excellent staff do their best to make up for this, but the hotel itself needs a lot of work."
Consiana Vang Vieng Hotel
"The hotel has an excellent location and is very convenient for getting around. If you’re planning a trip to Vang Vieng, this is a great place to stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It’s perfect for travelers. The staff provided great service, and the Lao people were all very kind. The price is also very affordable. If I return to Vang Vieng, I would definitely stay here again."
Vang Vieng Sisavang Hotel
"The staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially when booking trips/buses. People on reception gave us a lot a information and good deals on excursions. The room clean, with AC, TV, wifi and the bed was comfortable freshly. The place is located at the city center. I lived in this hotel for two days at mountain view room."
Kinton hotel
"A very pleasant and peaceful hotel. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and well-maintained, with a sense of order and comfort that makes the stay truly relaxing. The views are beautiful - mountains right in front of you and hot air balloons drifting across the sky in the evening. There is also a great restaurant on the top floor with delicious food and a wonderful panoramic view. A very comfortable place to stay."
LARNG YAY Riverview Resort Hotel
"The room was amazing. We got upgrade for free to a bigger room but I guess all the rooms are nice. Nice quiet area ln the river. But you need car or motorbike to move around. We got free pickup from the train station. And they also were so nice to drive us to the town the first day to rent a scooter. Thank you!"
Thipphakone Vang Vieng Hotel
"This hostel was good, okay location, only two in the whole bedroom, staff was nice, bathroom was clean, breakfast was okay. I recommend"
Vang Vieng Sisavang Mountain View Hotel
"An excellent hotel with a great overall experience. Everything went perfectly, from the service to the comfort of the rooms. The location is convenient, the place is well maintained, and the staff is very attentive. Definitely one of the best hotels to stay at in the area."
Sunrise Mountain View Resort
"Good hotel with nice view"
Ruby Mountain View Resort Vang Vieng
"This hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Vang Vieng. If you're coming by the Laos-China railway, just hop on the green public minibus and tell the driver to drop you off at Ruby Mountain. It's only about a 10-minute ride. It's also close to motorcycle rental shops, so you can easily zip around the city. We rode to the Blue Lagoon and Pha Ngern viewpoint – the weather was amazing! The room was clean, the bathtub was comfortable, and the room had a pleasant fragrance. The TV could access YouTube, and there was a hairdryer. All the amenities provided were excellent. Highly recommended! The staff are Chinese and Black, and they communicate well in English. It made traveling around so easy. I loved it!"

Tmark Resort Vangvieng
"A gorgeous hotel with stunning views, a convenient location, and friendly staff. Special thanks to the reception team who helped me organize a hot air balloon excursion. Feel free to contact them with any questions; they are very nice and helpful. The room was very cozy and spacious, and the breakfasts were good. I loved the pool! This hotel will definitely make your stay in Vang Vieng enjoyable. I would happily recommend it to my friends. On the downside, since it was the beginning of the rainy season, there were issues with the water: one morning it was very yellow, and the pressure was very low that evening."
Lisha Garden Resort Hotel
"The hotel is the first one at the exit of Vangrong Expressway. The environment is nice and all in Southeast Asian style. You can see many hot air balloons in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and has many varieties. The rice noodles are super delicious."
Song View Pool Villa
"The staff were very friendly, and the room facilities were relatively high-end for Vang Vieng. However, I would like to point out the following: 1. The hotel is about 2-3 kilometers from Vang Vieng's commercial center. The surrounding area is very desolate and inconvenient for getting around. 2. Although the hotel provides a shuttle bus service to and from the station, I couldn't contact the hotel when I arrived at the station. One day, their shuttle bus broke down, and I had to call a car myself. 3. Breakfast was not a buffet but delivered to the hotel room with no choice. They served bacon, eggs, and sausages, which were all unappetizing. 4. Overall, given the high price, my expectations for the hotel were quite high, but it didn't quite meet my expectations."
Champathong Garden Resort
"I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are really friendly. The swimming pool was lovely and the kind of back garden which faces onto the river is super beautiful. I felt it was safe. I didn’t have any communication problems with the staff they helped to provide a car into town. If you are not going to rent a scooter or a vehicle then I wouldn’t suggest staying here but we just rented a scooter from the centre of town and that enabled us to travel freely between the town centre and the hotel."
Pool Party Hotel
"We stayed at Pool Party Hotel during our trip to Vang Vieng. The location is definitely a plus k it’s close to the market area, so you can easily walk to restaurants, cafés, and shops. The exterior of the hotel also looks quite premium and modern, which gives a good first impression when you arrive. However, the rooms are quite small and felt a bit cramped, especially if you’re traveling with luggage. It’s manageable for a short stay, but something to keep in mind before booking.. One important tip: you’ll need a universal travel adapter, as the plug points may not be compatible with all chargers. They do offer pick-up and drop-off service from the railway station, which is very convenient just make sure to contact them and confirm before you arrive. We also noticed that the cycle service wasn’t functional during our visit, which was slightly disappointing as it would have been helpful for exploring around. Overall, a decent stay mainly because of the location and convenience, but better suited for short stays."
Avenue Hotel VangVieng
"The hotel has a great location. There's a bank across the street where you can exchange currency anytime, and you can rent a scooter right next to the main street. It's also very close to another street where you can book tours."
Remember Vangvieng Hotel
"Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable. It would be a blast to come here with friends, especially with the large swimming pool. The hotel bathrooms were also spotless, not bad at all. And for anyone who loves taking photos, the evening views are absolutely stunning – a must-shoot!"

Nature Resort Vangvieng
"I enjoyed the place its quiet and relaxing. I would love to go back again. Just need to have mosquito repellent if ever to use the outside veranda in front of the room."
The Elephant Crossing Hotel
"I frequently stay at this hotel every time I visit Vang Vieng, Laos. I've tried many room types, from budget-friendly to more expensive ones, and the staff always provide excellent service, and the atmosphere is great. Each room offers beautiful natural views. The food at the hotel's restaurant is moderately seasoned, suitable for both Thai and international guests."
PM Hotel
"The hotel is good, the soundproofing is OK, the room is small"
Sky Hotel
"One of the best hotels I have stayed at throughout my travel in Laos. The rooms are clean and beautiful and the restroom facilities are immaculate with hot showers. The outdoor pool is also so pretty and exactly what you need on a hot day. Additionally, we were able to book Paramotor and hit air balloon tours the day of for relatively cheap prices through the front desk! Would 10/10 recommend to stay here for the amazing value it provides."
