An excellent boutique hotel in the Dorsoduro section of Venice. Elegance, 5 star service, plush accommodations, and a wonderful location. Easy walking to the Guggenheim and the Academia. Away from the bustling crowds of St Marks, yet easy enough to find your way there via a gondola ferry and a nice walk. Great recommendations on nearby dining. Can’t say enough about how wonderful our 4 night stay was at this excellent hotel. Would highly recommend and is one of a very few places we would put on our definitely return list.

Lucky us to find this pearl of a boutique hotel. Situated centrally in Venice we just loved our stay. Classy and with a special touch and flair the staff made us feel instantly at home. The rooms were beautifully decorated with fantastic artwork and since there are only a few rooms it felt like a home. Never busy or crowded. From the service staff, reception to the the owner we felt we were special guests. We shall be back and will advice all our friends to stay at this Pearl of Venice.

A beautiful stay from start to finish! This is the perfect haven from the busyness of central Venice. A beautiful boutique hotel which feels exclusive, personal and stylish with a genuine 5 star service. The team were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed in the Barena Suite which was stunning. The balcony overlooking the church was very special. The location perfect, set in a lovely neighbourhood with some great restaurants nearby within walking distance or a gondola ride away from San Marco. We loved that we could get away from the crowds and come ‘home’. Breakfast was fabulous! A dream weekend, we will definitely be back!

This is a fantastic boutique hotel, close enough to walk to “the action” in Venice, yet removed enough to roam in peaceful neighborhoods and have quiet evenings in nearby restaurants. The hotel staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. Our room, decorated in a Moorish theme, was beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. Highly recommended for your stay in Venice. The crowds are incredible but this place is a haven.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in early July. The hotel is an absolute delight, a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of Venice’s busy crowded streets. It is in the Accademia area, where there is lots of art galleries and the university I believe. We much preferred this area to the main tourist island where the basilica and Doge’s palace is located. There are some lovely restaurants in walking distance which the receptionist recommended and booked for us. The owner of the hotel is a very nice, friendly man and the receptionist is also very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. He organised water taxis for us to go to Murano and Burano which we loved. All the waiting staff for breakfast are pleasant and the breakfast was good when we had it. The terrace is charming for drinks in the evening. The room we stayed in was in the attic so lots of stairs, bear this in mind if you struggle with mobility and request a lower floor. All in all, a delightful hotel full of quirky details and interesting art. I would highly recommend.
