"I rarely book 3-star hotels, so I was quite taken aback when, upon arriving at 11 AM, I was asked to pay a fee to store my luggage. It felt like they were pushing me to pay more for an early check-in instead. Then, on top of the room rate, I had to pay an additional 22 Euros for city tax. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, which we accessed with a code. It faced almost directly onto the entrance/exit of an underground parking garage of the building opposite, and the noise was incredibly loud. I confirmed that there was no room orientation option when booking, and when I asked the front desk, I was told all other rooms were booked! The next morning, the breakfast restaurant was bustling – everyone really seemed to enjoy it. I guess it must be because of the convenient transportation? You can take the 'fishbone bridge' train and the water bus from there."

"Getting around the island isn't very convenient. The staff at check-in were quite patient. The room felt a bit old, with some cracks on the ceiling. The bathroom drain had a bad odor, especially in the middle of the night – it was almost unbearable when using the toilet. We asked them to check and fix it, or change rooms, when we left. They said it was resolved when we returned, but the smell was still there. Dinner was just okay, but all the servers were very friendly. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options."

"Overall, I'm very satisfied! The only minor issue is that the bus from the city's train station to the hotel stops running at 9 PM, which is quite early. A taxi wasn't too expensive, costing 15 Euros. However, there's a convenient direct bus service between the main island and the train station. You can buy bus tickets at the hotel front desk; I recommend buying a couple extra. Otherwise, it can be a hassle if the ticket machines in the city are broken or there are long queues. Breakfast was quite good, but the windows couldn't be opened, so I kept seeing dust and lint floating around in the room. This seems to be a common problem with hotels where you can't open the windows."

Breakfast selection is ok, just usual breakfast choice but the staff is so nice."
