Batonka Guest Lodge in one word was superb! Sarah and team do a wonderful job, are personable and go above and beyond all expectations! Bheki was incredibly sincere and always had a smile. He is a wonderful part of the crew and we can not wait to come back and see him again. What an asset he is to Batonka! We made the booking inclusive with breakfast and dinner. They handled all our excursions. The entire staff was aware when my husband was under under the weather one day and went the extra mile to make sure he was well. Gladys at the front desk always had a smile and a kind word. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, Batonka Guest Lodge!

From the moment i entered the Reception area, i felt like i was a part of the Batonka Guest Lodge Family! the staff was professional, welcoming, helpful, & friendly. the grounds of the lodge were well kept! my accommodation was first class! your stay at Batonka Guest Lodge will be unforgettable!

The lodge is situated close to Victoria falls shopping area within beautiful tranquil gardens. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with a few queries we had. The restaurant was pleasant and service good. There are a number of queries that can be booked through the hotel. All our trips were a good quality and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

This hotel is a nice option for visiting the area around Victoria Falls. It has lots of pros - nice rooms, not too big, friendly and helpful staff, and a pleasant setting. The concierge can help you line up a wide range of activities that can be paid for though the hotel, if you want someone else to help with planning your visit to the area. The only possible drawback was the food in the restaurant - it was usually good, but sometimes inconsistent.

We were recieved with a very sincere and friendly Welcome that came along with a heartfelt smile!! From then on, the service was impecable, from the front desk personnel, to the people at the bar and dinning room all the way to the gardener, who pointed out the cameleon that was on the tree!! The rooms are very nice and the bed was a dream. The bathoroom was very well appointed with all the commodities. The very well kept gardens and the serene atmosphere of the Victorian style terrace certainly helped to wind down after a great 2 weeks out on the Matetsi. The Batonka lies within easy walking distance of all the attractions in town, this, for us, was a big plus. Most highly recommended place to stay when in Victoria Falls!!

Lovely setting, just the right distance away from town. Lovely rooms, lobby and restaurant. We do wish that you would replace the plastic bottles of water with filtered water in bottles for the rooms!

We stayed one night in June. The service was efficient and friendly and the room was clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. The food at breakfast and supper was of a high standard too. The staff arranged free transport for us to Victoria Falls entrance.

We spent 3 nights at Batonka and the room was comfortable with plenty of space, all rooms are within a short walk from reception and to the pool. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with the shuttle to the falls working very well.
