Wow!!! First of all, the Beer family gives you personal attention. The location is really great, close to everything. The apartment is of a high standard with large and spacious rooms, every detail has been thought of, a fully equipped and high standard kitchen, a large balcony with a wonderful view, there is a large lobby, a games room, parking and a pool for guests. In short, highly recommend.

From the minute you step in, you feel the warmth and passion from the family. The room is nice and tidy and everything works as it should. The entire hotel personnel is very service-minded, asking how you slept or if you would like a cup of coffee brougt to your room. This is not the flashiest hotel you will find, but definitely the one where you will feel most at home.

Family run hotel where you always feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel, as you would expect, is spotlessly clean and a lovely mix of modern and traditional. Roland is an excellent chef and the food is wonderful. Special thanks to Herr and Frau Beer (Senior) and to Roland and family. We will be back 😊 ⛷ ⛷

Just wanted to share what a fabulous time we'd had at Hotel Schattauer in Wagrain. From the very friendly greetings from all of the family and staff on arrival and everyday, the tasty breakfasts to the lovely 5 course evening meals, the cosy warm bedrooms, with plenty of storage (important when skiing) and the relaxing baths. Wagrain is a lovely town, with good bars and hotels to visit and what great connections throughout the ski area! We will definitely return. Thanks to the Bear family and your lovely team!

That was another year when we stayed at Schattauer with the friends and family. Every time I am impressed with the excellent service and comfortness of the accomodation. The Beer family went out of their way to address needs and wishes of our group of 20+. The food was delicious! Thank you Family Beer and see you next year!

The hotel is family operated and therefore extremely well driven. Our family has stayed there more than 10 times, and enjoyed the good food, rooms and easy access to the slopes also this winter. We appriciate the kind hospitality given by the whole Beer Family.

This was our 3rd stay at Schattauer - we stayed in the apartments. I don't think you will find a better accommodation in Wagrain: The apartments are spacious, comfortable, well equipped and the location is brilliant: In the middle of Wagrian close to shopping and free ski bus. Futhermore the the hosts are super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Schattauer!

Loved staying at Hotel Schattauer, with the family. The hotel is clean, cozy, easy acces to the slopes and the food and service are wonderful. Its a family run hotel, with great service. We can highly recommend the hotel.
