The location of this hotel is fantastic right in the middle of a pedestrian only area and 5 minutes walk from the Schiller Museum and a 12 minute walk from the Goethe Museum. The hotell has been modernised superb large bedrooms and offer a very nice breakfast buffet. The barman makes an unique and very enjoyable gin and tonic wort a try.

We were very happy with our third floor bedroom , although it lacked facilities for coffee and tea making . Everything was clean and comfortable though whenever in Germany I find their pillows not as comfortable as my well-stuffed goose feather one . The bathroom was well appointed and the floor constructed so as not to be slippery in the shower or on a wet floor . We did not breakfast in the hotel , preferring a simpler and cheaper version in the cafes that are close to the hotel . The position of the hotel is excellent for visiting all the local attractions , and local restaurants . The staff were friendly and helpful . Hotel Schillerhof was one of the features that made our stay in Weimar so enjoyable .

the staff (check in, breakfast, cleanstaff, etc) is so friendly and helpfull, very hospitable. The rooms are very good designed and stylish. Breakfast is plenty and lots of choice. it is situated in the middle of town.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel in mitten von Weimar. Sehr schönes neu renoviertes Haus. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Leider war in meinem Zimmer 314 weder ein kleiner Tisch noch ein Sessel vorhanden. Als Geschäftsreisender wäre diese Ausstattung für etwas Büroarbeit sehr Hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Im Lift ist, dank Streiflicht der Staub aufgefallen. Blödes Licht und viel zu putzen für das Personal. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Leider gab es einen Zahlendreher beim meinem Key sodass ich nochmals zur Rezeption musste. Kann ja jedem mal passieren Beim Barkeeper gibt es verbesserungspotential! Details möchte ich hier nicht nennen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super! Große Auswahl an hochwertigen Speisen. Hier findet jeder was!

Zentral in der Fußgängerzone und der Altstadt Weimars gelegen, ist dieses Hotel edel eingerichtet, die Lobby, die Bar und der Frühstücks- bzw. Aufenthltsraum wirken sehr stylisch und gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind toll, das Badezimmer groß genug. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen schönen Blick über die Stadt.

Wir sind zufällig abends als Gäste in der Bar gelandet. Vorher keine guten Erfahrungen kulinarischer Art und hinsichtlich des zum Essen passenden Weinangebots gemacht. Aber hier: ein absoluter Profi hinter dem Bartresen! Es hat richtig Freude gemacht, zu beobachten und auch selbst zu erfahren, mit welcher professionellen Hingabe die Drinks bereitet wurden. Wir waren vorher 4 Wochen in Frankreich und mussten feststellen, dass auch dort die Professionalität im Gastronomiebereich kaum noch zu finden war. Umso begeisterter waren wir in der Bar im Hotel Schillerhof in Weimar! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und haben auch schon im Freundeskreis darüber berichtet. Also: absolut Empfehlenswert und leider schon eine sehr positive Ausnahme!
