Very comfortable and clean. Good location below the castle with access to a footpath going up to the castle. 10 minute walk to centre. Lovely garden. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Only negative was the house next door which is being renovated. Lots of early noise but this will pass.

Nothing will disturb your sleep here.Located opposite a former royal garden, the hotel was once the residence of the administrator. The staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is a bit disappointing after the buildup it is given. The coffee bears little resemblance to the real thing.

Hotel ist ganz ok. Das Haus an sich ist wunderschön! Allerdings könnte man es etwas liebevoller und geschmackvoller einrichten. Das fängt im Eingangsbereich mit der einfallslosen weißen Farbe an, dann die alten Teppiche in den Zimmern… wenn hier jemand Allergien hat, sehr unvorteilhaft. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nett angerichtet. Uns hat jedoch die Brötchenvielfalt, ein paar frisch gepreßte Obstsäfte, Joghurt und eine regionale Honigauswahl gefehlt. Ansonsten war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir kommen vielleicht mal wieder.

Gepflegtes Anwesen und Gebäude knapp außerhalb der alten Stadtmauer, das Zentrum erreicht man innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß. Einfache Anfahrt ohne durch die komplette Stadt fahren zu müssen. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Objekt. Lift vorhanden (ich persönlich liebe die Wendeltreppe im Turm). Schöne, gemütliche, saubere Zimmer mit Minibar. Leckeres Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an allerlei Aufschnitt, geräuchertem Fisch, süßen und herzhaften Aufstrichen, vielerlei Obst, verschiedene Zutaten fürs Müsli zum Selbermischen. So hat der Tag immer prima begonnen und man konnte die Erkundungstouren in die schöne Harzgegend starten. Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Angestellte. War bereits zum zweiten und definitiv nicht zum letzten Mal da.
