Hotel Evernia

My experience at Hotel Evernia was overwhelmingly disappointing and fell far short of expectations. From the moment of arrival, it was evident that the property was in dire need of renovations and maintenance. The exterior of the hotel looked rundown and neglected, setting a dismal tone for the rest of the stay. The check-in process was chaotic and disorganized, with long wait times and unhelpful staff. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a stale and musty odor that permeated the air, indicating poor cleanliness and ventilation. The furnishings were outdated and showed signs of wear and tear, further adding to the overall sense of dilapidation. The bathroom was particularly unsanitary, with mold and mildew present in the grout lines and around the fixtures. Additionally, the water pressure was weak, and the temperature control was unreliable, making for an uncomfortable shower experience. Despite expressing my concerns to the staff, there was a lack of accountability and a dismissive attitude towards addressing the issues. Overall, my stay at Hotel Evernia was a regrettable experience, and I would strongly advise against booking accommodations at this establishment.

The room was clean. It was a good place near from attractive street in West Palm Beach and near from square and lakes so location was very good. Staff was very nice to me.

Cozy with place to stay if you don’t mind rooming house type stay. This includes shared bathroom and shower.

I loved the feel of the hotel. It was like stepping into a movie set! "Back in time" comes to mind. What a wonderful place!😍 It was easy to check in. I found everything was properly set up. Nice towels, good quality beddind. EVERY THING WAS VERY CLEAN. The location was just perfect. It is close to everything of interest, yet quiet enough to get some good rest. THE AC BLOWS NICE AND COLD. Miss April's was helpful and made the best recommendations too helping to enhanced the weekend experience 👌 Great lady! I will definitely be back. 😀

Great inexpensive place close to Clematis! Can’t beat the back for the buck. Will stay there again. BE SURE TO BOOK “PRIVATE BATHROOM” if that is important to you.

Clean, quiet and close to everything. I saw some questionable reviews about sharing bathrooms which when traveling with my wife I honestly would not be a fan of, but if you pay attention when booking, it is a non-issue. We had a clean private bathroom. April at the front desk was a pleasure, and the hotel is exactly what you want for a quick getaway. If you're looking for a high end chain, then look elsewhere, but if you seek a quaint, quirky, locally owned ma & pa type place, this is your type of place. If I had to nitpick and find one negative, it would be that the rooms have carpet. Carpet in general just isn't my thing. It hold too much stuff. BUT, with that said, they were clean. Parking is more than ample, and not that we used it, but the BrightLine station / parking garage is essentially right next door. I would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in the area.

This is an older hotel with a kind of traditional feel often lacking in more modern lodgings. The hotel is clean, comfortable and safe, and the location cannot be beat, particularly for users of public transportation. It is within easy walking distance of both the the Tri-Rail and Brightline trains, as well as the bus station for trips throughout the area and to/from the airport. Excellent value when compared to the very pricey national brand hotels in West Palm Beach.

Only problems we had were that we accidentally booked a room with a shared bathroom and shower, and could not rebook due to time restraints

Staff was awesome! On a multiple day trip and this was a great place to stay.
