Functional, clean and nicely furnished. For this price, it is more than well furnished. Staff are extremely friendly and respond promptly. The breakfast is excellent for this price. The only thing you could criticize is that you can't sleep with the windows open. On one side is the B49, on the other side is the train station.

Das Hotel liegt super zentral und direkt in Nähe der Lahn und Altstadt. Die Vorderseite geht zur Hauptstrasse hin und sieht nicht so schön aus - aber das Hotel ist wirklich sehr gut! Die Tiefgarage ist für 10.- Euro / Tag zu buchen und zu empfehlen. Der Service ist herausragend. Sowohl beim check - in als auch abends an der Bar oder morgens beim absolut hervorragendem Frühstück. Dies sticht durch eine abwechslungsreiche Obst-/Müslie Bar hervor. Alles ist unverpackt, frisch und modern. Guter Kaffee/Macciato etc. und leckerer Saft. Alles für einen guten Start in den Tag. Die Zimmer sind groß, modern und die Betten ein Traum. Alles sauber und top. Einziges ”Manko” - wir haben Lahnseite gebucht und auch gedacht wir hätten Lahn Blick. Den gibt es zur Zeit nicht. In Wetzlar wird extrem viel gebaut und modernisiert und das Lahnufer ist auf der Seite des Hotels nicht begehbar. Dafür ist der Biergarten richtig schön und man hat Blick auf die Altstadt und ist zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten vor Ort.

Es ist sehr selten, dass man sich als Gast im eigentlichen Sinne und nicht nur als zahlender Kunde fühlt. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr üppig und es wird auch - problemlos und gerne - auf Sonderwünsche oder -bedürfnisse eingegangen. So ist es auch möglich, dass man spontan glutenfreie Backwaren bekommen kann. Das Hotel liegt mitten in einer Wohngegend, sodass es sehr ruhig und entspannt ist. Zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant mit einer übersichtlichen und zufriedenstellenden Karte. Dabei fällt auf, dass viele Besucher aus der näheren Umgebung zu kommen scheinen. Dies trägt zu einem gewissen Lokalkolorit bei und spricht gleichzeitig für die Küche und das ausgesprochen freundliche Personal.

Wonderful rooms. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Bed was great as was the selection of pillows. Great shower. The staff was friendly and professional. So why did I rate it average? This hotel is a fair distance from restaurants. If you don’t have a car(which we didn’t) the only choice is the hotel restaurant. Here is my big complaint: both nights of our stay the hotel bar and restaurant were not available for guests. They had booked private parties. Since there is no room service, the first night we had to find a taxi. The second night we found the situation too late and just did without. We were never informed of the situation when we booked the rooms. This is inexcusable, the first time I’ve encountered this inconvenience. Had we known, we probably would have stayed elsewhere. Beware!
