We had a wonderful stay at Riad Ouliya staying in their beautiful Scheherazade Suite. Rachid the owner and his crew were warm and welcoming. The riad is well positioned inside the Medina, but close to an exit where you can get a taxi, etc. Our breakfasts were wonderful as was the one dinner we had there. Will be back…. One note: We explored parts of the Medina our first day without a guide. I’m confident and a pretty good navigator, but not good enough…. Our second day we hired a guide. SO MUCH less stress and more enjoyable.

The B&B is located in the old city of Medina. It takes about 500 meters to walk to get off the taxi. There are people on the roadside to help drag luggage. The door of the hotel is too small.
