This is a best hotel in the Olympic village which is located near the Placid lake. We have a great time and the views are very beautiful that can compare with any place in Switzerland.

It feels like the best hotel in the town. The classical decoration, the size of the hotel, and the Chris**as decorations in every corner of the interior all make people feel happy! The only drawback is that the internal facilities in the room are a bit old and I hope they can be renovated. The small town of Lake Placid is so beautiful when it snows in winter. I will stay here for vacation in the future!

Overall a nice 1-day trip to Lake Placid. Hotel was centrally located, perched on top of the hill looking over the village. Room was average. We enjoyed the restaurant located within the hotel. Food was good and the service was even better.

We were very pleased with this accommodation. The only thing that was a problem is that the bed clothes were set too low on the bed and I was cold during the night. They were also so tight that I couldn"t adjust them.

We had a wonderful time. The views were perfect and we were able to walk everywhere in Lake Placid. Breakfast and dinner also pretty good and very convenient. The room is spacious and clean and has a microwave and small fridge! The facility itself is a bit old and needs a facelift, lots of strange smells. :)

Loved the staffed front desk. Everyone was very helpful. I called about a broken fridge and they were willing to come at 11pm at night but I said the next day was fine.
I didn't like that there is only one way in and out of the building. I had a room at the other end of the building on the second floor and there was no elevator. Even though I was able to use a luggage cart, It was still a hassle to bring all my stuff to/from my car to the hotel room. The parking lot is huge but still ways walk from the front door but they let you park in the roundabout to load/unload.
